I was on my gamespot account and noticed how I had over 100 blogs on that site. I had a bunch of people comment, mainly a main group of friends on that site. However, once GB started, i immediately left gamespot. I left all those people (though some are on this site now). Its interesting how those friendships were severed just like that. it makes me think how friends come and go.... 
 
In real life Ive been in a 2.5 year relationship with this amazing girl. When I first started going out with her I couldnt get enough of her, and spent all my time with her. My friends began to get jealous, and actually insult her behind my back. And just like that, my close friends, even my best friends, were seen as enemies to me. I still talk to them and hang out with them at times, but we could never have the same relationship as before. They broke my trust, and hurt me in a deep way, and just like that, those friends came and went.  
 
Many people hate feeling alone. Thus we make relationships. Some even say the point of life is our relationships with others. So its interesting how minor things can separate friends so much. Do you ever wonder how there are 6 billion people on the world, what if everyone was friends? There would be no war.. 
 
anyways, this blog was just my random thoughts being written down. Friends, or more so relationships, will always come and go..

yup nothing lasts forever, altho u shouldnt have ignored all your friends just bc u couldn't get enough of ur gf. I did the same thing and basically stopped hanging out and ignored all my friends, when the relationship didn't work out, there were very few ppl left that I had to still call friends, o well lesson learned ;p.

I guess.

I have to say, if they'd make comments that hurtful behind your back then either they didn't know how serious the things they were saying were to you, or they probably weren't as good friends as you thought they were.

Thats why you should only have two friends. Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.

A friend of mine started going out with this total bitch and I kept my mouth shut for two years about it.  Then when I eventually brought it up he stopped being friends with me.  So taken from the other side of the table guy, girls can fuck up your perception of who are/are not your friends.  I hate it but its true.

   Yes that is true about women, I am living proof that a woman can come between a guy and his friend.  But that is when you take the initiative and walk up to her and say "I AM A MAN!!" and then run off with your friend in the sun set.

I wrote a blog on this (I won't link to it, as much of a self-promoting whore I am on these boards, that would be tasteless here) and I concluded that...that's life. Sometimes you get in with great people, sometimes your "friends" aren't what they seem, and you become so different that you can't really relate to one another anymore. It might hurt to admit it, but sometimes you have to cut off those people who are bringing you down. Put positive people in your life, and you'll find yourself content with your life, trust me. 
 
Oh and don't worry about finding cool friends out there. It's hard, but you'll get there eventually.

Things like this happen a lot but they also can bring friends closer together. I'll try and keep this short, I was in a relationship and my girlfriend at the time was pretty much using me and I just didn't see it. My best friend tried telling me plenty of times but I was too blind from all the sex to listen. ( not literally ) I don't even remember how he got through to me but he never gave up and I eventually listened. We're still best friends to this day.
So basically what I'm saying is that you just need to keep looking because for everyone one person that's awesome, there are 50 that are dick heads. And sometimes the dick heads blend in with the awesome people.....yeah....

Still close friends with my buddies from grade school. 

I started dating my fiancee almost 6 years ago, but prior to that we'd been best friends for our entire lives (almost literally; we were introduced as infants though I can't honestly say I remember it).  Of course, we had a group of friends, and the few dudes within that held their own crushes for her immediately lashed out against us when we finally got together.  They really put a damper on one of the happiest times of my life.  We both cut them off back then, and while it's difficult not to look back, you really just have to deal with it.
