" Switching hard drives or using a memory card are the easiest ways without getting in trouble with Microsoft. I recall one person writing into the Bombcast saying that they got their achievement points reset or something because he had the same account on two 360s. "
Actually he got reset for gamesaving a couple of games, there's absolutely no harm in switching a hard drive or memory unit that has your profile on between consoles since it actually is perfectly acceptable under MS's rules to do so
" Very true that RRP is £49.99. I forget they actually mark them up at that price point. A £5 hike is still entirely ridiculous mind.
" The fact that people are willing to pass on a sequel to one of the best games from 07 just because they have to fork out an extra £3 is beyond dumb "
That's entirely not the point I'm making. My problem is not with the game nor the developer, more that Activision seem to have the entire industry by the balls. And while they've got the initial grip, they're only going to pull tighter as their ego grows.Honestly, I can't believe how much EA have turned around and Activision have fallen into their old habbits. "
Hopefully though the higher price point will only be acceptable for games like MW2 that are going to be huge hits because people are still going to buy a Call of Duty game if it costs a fiver more, I doubt that people would be happy to pay £45 for whatever shite movie games are bound to be released in the same time frame, hopefully activision know this and we won't be seeing whatever crappy tie in game that is bound to be released selling for £45.
