Wish List '10

List items

  • Amazing looking western epic. Incredibly innovative; plus anything Rockstar makes is good. And seriously - who wouldn't want to play GTA: 1906?

  • Graphically beautiful, cinematic, with an interesting looking story. All that plus Bad Company style destruction (minus the grenade launchers) will keep this high on my list.

  • Although we've only seen pre-alpha footage, I'll be very happy if this game delivers on any of it's promises after the possible summer release date (courtesy of Walmart.com)

  • Finally, a crime MMO that looks good! (*ahem CrimeCraft*) The podcasts and beta footage are proving this game to be very sweet indeed. If it hits the 360 anytime soon I'll be happy.

  • I loved the original on my PS2 back in the day, but it had its flaws. A lot of flaws. However, I think the series may pull an Assassin's Creed II and fix all the problems us fans brought to their attention. Plus the Avalanche Engine looks sick.

  • BioShock 2. 'Nuff said.

But seriously, anyone who played the very intelligent and artsy original will undoubtedly buy this game, especially since you can now kick ass as a Big Daddy.

    Oh, did I mention MULTIPLAYER?

  • Gotta say, I like the new look. The Brazilian setting will apparently be one of many, so with experience of the first two under my belt, I'll definitely be on the lookout for ol' crazy Max.

  • I like open world games, robbing banks, fast cars, San Francisco, and you.

    Oh wait, that's Public Enemies.

Holy shit Codemasters just release the damn game already.

  • I love stealth games so much, I replayed "Contingency" eight times on Modern Warfare 2, which is why it took me so long to finish the game. The Mark and Execute system plus the new objective display is making this game looks better and better, but the clincher is the Coop Gameplay I've seen. Conviction looks GOOD!

  • This looks like rural America "Lost." Very excited to see how Mr. Wake takes the episode format and keeps the game flowing while kicking shadow people ass.

  • Seeing as how they still haven't made a good Burnout for the 360 (save for the very dated Revenge), I'm really looking forward to this futuristic destructive racer. Maybe Disney can finally make a good (*mildy*) violent game...?

  • I was very disappointed when Sega delayed this, and lost interest. But this RPG has one thing I like: spies. I usually hate RPG's, but Alpha Protocol looks to change this. Looks like the next best thing to a Bourne RPG.

  • While we're on the topic of Burnout, Blur is high on my racer wish list. I like the Midnight Club style powerups, plus the addition of real cars should make this an interesting title.

  • We haven't really seen much of this game save for a very cinematic looking teaser, but I think Homefront is going to surprise everyone as the sleeper hit of 2010. All those who think that this is going to be the Borderlands of 2010, can I get an amen?

  • Even though EA is claiming the trailer is in game footage, that doesn't seem right. However, I've always felt that Medal Of Honor has done a better job with singleplayer (having not played MoH multiplayer). When comparing the WWII CoD's to the WWII MoH's, it's really quite obvious who's the victor there. I'll be watching for MoH, whatever the case.

  • Although I'll probably be playing Modern Warfare 2 for the next 10 years, Bad Company 2 looks promising. More than promising, but since the first was so good, that's the best I can say to keep the first game sounding respectable. Bad Company's multiplayer would have been good by itself, but with the destruction it took its place as the best modern combat multiplayer game.

  • I Am Alive got me excited FOUR F@$%ING YEARS AGO. For the love of Ray J, Ubisoft, release it before everyone forgets about it. Speaking of Ubisoft, I'm also excited for the new Driver and new Assassin's Creed (which should just be DLC, I'm warning you...)

  • I don't think this game has any life left in it, but if it ever gets released, I'll definitely give it a try. I know it's a touchy subject, but it's a good concept. Mi amici, invest in this game if only to support a flailing dev.

  • ...and the only Arcade game making my list, Joy Ride is looking very appealing. I like the free to play, pay to buy (cars) idea, and I think is a cool way to socialize. The only I envy of the PS3 is Home, and *sigh* Uncharted...

So this should ease my pain.

  • I mentioned before that I enjoyed stealth games, but a Prison Break game that doesn't feature Scofield? It doesn't feel right. I don't really want to be a Company agent, but I suppose this game at least warrants a rent.
