I'm undecided on which to get.

360

- I can still get the collector's edition

- In case my friends do get it, there's the chance of us interacting together in some way

- I'm probably more comfortable with the 360 controller

PS3

- system it was developed for

- I am unable to obtain the collector's edition, at least as easily

- bigger community online

I'm thinking Warrior or Wanderer, they seem both good all-around melee classes, and wouldn't be as slow-moving as the Knight.

Dexterity affects movement/roll speed, correct? Any suggestions on which class I should go with? I thought about a magic-class, but I think I'm in the mood more for an agile Samurai/Martial-Artist type of character. I figure Warrior will probably be the way to go.

You'll be lost unless you read a summary of the first two.

That being said, the first 2 games still have a great campaign that's 2 player co-op if you feel like playing through those. Otherwise if you read a summary on the 2 games and just jump in 3 you should be alright.

So its same game with few gimmicks slapped on it. I am glad I didn't buy xbox 360 for this...

What do want a racing game to be?

Haha, right? Forza has everything you could possibly want.

If you want nitrous and cop car chases, then you're looking at the wrong game.

I loved Enslaved. Once of the best games this generation. Didn't care for Heavenly Sword at all though.

I think they really need a new pitch. The "give us money so we can keep doing dumb shit" is not really a great pitch. No I want to pay because the content is cool and relevant to my interests. My favourite segments on the BLLSL were the more well put together segments were the Whiskey Folks were leveraging their knowledge, personalities along with showing cool stuff. Why would anyone pay $50 to watch Will or Norm to shove hard boiled eggs in their mouths? I will be subscribing this year, but it will be just to support the site because I think what they do with the free stuff is really awesome and worth $50 and not to help them keeping doing dumb shit.
Exactly! I really liked the Game Room videos Jeff did as they would talk about older games I might not of necessarily heard of, with historical context and memories from Jeffs childhood growing up with them and if they got the emulation wrong and what didn't feel right. That was interesting stuff. If they went more that route, education (with the laughs the GB crew brings) of forgotten games and systems I think that would be pretty cool to see. Also the random ass Eastern Europe PC games Dave plays, something I would know nothing about but its interesting to see.

Ahhhh, I miss the Game Room videos. They should have a reunion for Game Room to give it some closure.

You guys know that Jeff is doing a classic game appreciation series called the "Jeff Gerstmann Hall of Fame", right? That will be subscriber only, they mentioned it a few times in the past month.

I heard him keep mentioning it, but never actually heard what it was about.

How many people would freak if they announced the next Endurance Run was subscriber-only?

Remember the split bombcast thing last year?

The initial Rainbow Bombcast art was the best bombcast art I've seen yet. I don't care for all this new stuff.

Very good point on the initial pitch.

As others have said, as my initial dip in the subscriber-stuff, I really enjoy radio dave as well. Radio Dave and retro quick looks would make it worth it for me. But I can only catch Radio Dave when it is archived.
