Bad sequel to BF2. The game may look pretty, but it is missing tons of features that made BF2 so good.

  • Rating: 3/5

    Version(s) Played: PC, PS3, and X360

Bad sequel to the original Bad Company. Missing the charm of the original, and seems more like a sequel to Modern Warfare.

  • Rating: 3/5

Version(s) Played: PC, Xbox One, and PS3

Interesting take on the franchise, but was not exactly fun to play.

  • Rating: 3/5

    Version(s) Played: PC

Does not have the charm of Heroes, and mediocre compared to other free to play shooters on the market when it came out.

  • Rating: 2/5

    Version(s) Played: Xbox One

I don't like the "Games as a Service" model. I Don't like the changes that were made during the game's life span, and I don't think microtransactions belong in a premium game.

I love Portal, but this isn't Battlefield. Bugs aside 2042 removes too many features that make Battlefield stand out from other games. The game is set up to sell dumb cosmetic items for outrageous amounts of money. The core experience is very shallow. I was hoping 2042 to be like the FInal Stand DLC for BF4 and be a full on prequel to my favorite game in the series (2142), but that does not seem to be the case. The game has a dark and gritty back story, but plays like Fortnite. EA/DICE are more worried about putting in dumb Santa and cowboy skins than having the game in a playable state. Their response to all this is to announce a Battlefield Universe with new developer studios along side DICE AKA milking the franchise to death like Call of Duty.

    All-out Warfare mode = 2/5

    Hazard Zone mode = 1/5

    Portal mode = 4/5

If only Portal was a stand alone game.....
