Best Games of 2013

2013 was a bullshit year. Like, the worst ever. If 2014 wants to contend for worst year ever, it has a lot of work cut out for it, because it's gonna be tough to 2013 in terms of pure shittiness. I'm not even talking about videogames either, even though this year was not too good in that respect too.

This year proved that the gaming industry and a large portion of its fans have a lot of growing up to do. Like, for fuck's sake, it's 2013, why do we still act like bigoted children when it comes to topics like sexuality, gender, race, and religion? Hell, new consoles came out and instead of bringing joy and happiness to us all, they turned the internet into a festering shit hole for months on end. This year was just an off year for games. As a result I think I only finished 6 or 7 games.

Granted, I still have yet to play Gone Home and Papers Please, and I still need to play more of The Stanley Parable, Assassin's Creed 4, and Brothers.
