You had roughly 220 dollars.... bought one game.... and now have no money for food? - That's a hell of an expensive game!

Indeed this does appear to be the issue... the drive stopped spinning at some point towards the end of the first section of the game... very odd, but at least i'll know now for future discs using this - Cheers people

That's because it's on the XGD3 disc format, or so I've been told. Same thing happens with Forza Motorsport 4, but it spins down after about 90 seconds. Sure the same thing isn't happening, DefAde?

I'll give it a go... it seemed to still be spinning and 'hack-sawing' away for the first few minutes i played the game (certainly longer than 90 seconds)... i just thought i ain't putting up with this and kept dropping back to the dashboard and relaunching, hoping it would switch to the hdd

Well, forever, because it's actually playing the game off the disc not the harddrive

Xbox 360 version... on a 250GB Xbox Slim

I've installed this game to the hard-drive (as i do with all games these days)... however it refuses to play from the hdd, it continues to launch then play from the disc!

I cannot even begin to figure out why it's doing this... I've deleted the install and re-installed... no difference... cleared the hdd cache.. deleted the game save... no difference.

I go into the disc options, and it clearly finds the game install (comes up with the hdd icon, and the delete install option), i click 'play game'... it promptly just boots from the disc

Makes no sense... anyone else having this issue?

Only thing left to try is a disc replacement - but as the xbox can see the game install, i can't imagine the new disc will make any difference.

That's weird coz that clue is linked to another clue, and when i clicked the 'protagonist' that triggered fine!

I gave up on GoW, found an alternative... A specific game for the most famous and hairy of all the Xmen
