Mine would be Left 4 Dead I built it up to standards inachievable by basically living and breathing just for the sake of playing that game. I don't know why but I have always been infatuated with zombies. But when the game came out and it was nothing compared to my ridiculous expectations. So ever since L4D broke my heart I stopped following any game too closely otherwise I will be disappointed with every game I play.
I'd say it doesn't matter, sure you may enable him to play them. I have played video games all my life both violent and not, I have watched the goriest and cheerful movies all in my childhood. I'm an the result of violent media in my youth and am unaffected. I could tell reality from fantasy. I haven't even had a fight in my life, so as far as violent media making you violent that is bullshit. Take japan as an example the lowest crime rate and some of the most sick goriest shit in their games, manga and movies. I have an active social life and am not blood thirsty so as far as it affecting him, it won't do much other than entertain him. Also in an episode of Bullshit they made a young kid who loved playing shooters like call of duty and they brought him to the shooting range and made him fire a gun and he ended up hating the experience of firing it.
