SBE10: Wii is your console for 2010

Why? 
 
Well reading up on this article might help you.   
 
Aside from the juicy Tatsunoko vs Capcom (review coming soon) and NMH2 (review) we are getting much more.
 
Lets look at some games that are MUST buys this year: 

  1. Cave Story
  2. Megaman 10 (multiplat... but come on this is a Nintendo game)
  3. Metroid other M
  4. Monster Hunter Tri
  5. Red Steel 2
  6. Sin and Punishment 2
  7. Super Meat Boy
  8. and hopefully Zelda Wii 2
So I am not saying these are the only games to get, just the little cash guzzlers that seem like the best this year; and there are more great games that will appeal to individual wants this year as well (see article mentioned above). 
 
Also, I am not saying this is the only console you should play this year, just the one with the best looking lineup (maybe PS3's is about on par with its), but still, this assures no "I don't play my Wii anymore" wastes of topics this year... agreed?

Its been a while since I did a seriously serious blog, if that pun makes sense.  
 
Now now, you see the title (after all thats how one judges what to and not to click on) and you are wondering.  
 
Or you are just pissed. Actually you probably are not going to read this topic at all because its more than 5 words long. 
  
So what do I mean better topics..... well lets take a look at the recent wii topics.  
 
Oh btw, I mean make better Wii topics. I mean, do you find it funny that a whole system's forums are below to games?

Lets think about this shall we? 
  
Sorry I do not have the jeopardy theme with me... but its because 70% of the Wii forums on the front page have little or no discussion value.  
 
Furthermore, lets look at most of the topic creators: Me,   Willy105,   Godwind,  Al3xand3r,   oldschool, and  Linkyshinks. 
 
Sure there are some other topic creators, but other than those mentioned and some exceptions, most of the topics are asking for help on avatar, multiple topics on netflix, questions on which game to get that are not getting locked, and more! 
 
Yes, I know other forums have crap like this... maybe even more, but GB isn't exactly nintendo central. I challenge you to make forums like: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10

Best Fighting Game:
Street Fighter IV (Well duh)

Best Rhythm Game:
Rhythm Heaven (With Rhythm in the name its a dead giveaway)

Best Puzzle Game:
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (Well I say, it 'tis better than Henry Hatsworth) 

Best Action Adventure Game:
Batman Arkham Asylum (Yes yes yes, it is better than ASSassin's Creed II)

Best Platformer:
'Splosion Man AND New Super Mario Brothers Wii (I couldn't chose, not even by gunpoint)

Best RPG:
Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story (Shutup Bioware fanboys, it wasn't THAT good)

Best Strategy Game:
Plants vs Zombies (WTF is empire total war anyways?)

Best Driving/Racing Game:
Forza Motorsport 3 (There weren't any others... right? (JK))

Best Shooter:
Uncharted 2 (This one is getting lots of awards so... sit back and relax)

Best Graphics:
Resident Evil 5 (C'Mon admit it)

Best Soundtrack:

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (Thought it was gonna be 'meh", I mean its a fricken sports game)
