I'd love to say this game is perfect, but the camerawork on Quiet is so awkward.

"Camerawork" should never affect a game's score/merit unless it has an impact on gameplay. If it makes you uncomfortable, then sorry that's a problem within yourself.

If there was a game that constantly cut to images of big hard cocks after every level, no gameplay effect, you wouldn't like it.

Different people care about different things in different amounts. It's called "opinions" not "problems."

I don't know why they care so much about getting the Retron to read the cart, if it says "unknown cartridge" it'll still play just fine.

Some points that need to be brought up:

        1. The boss battle is actually very easy.

        2. Brad is bad at Trials.

        3. The microtransactions are brand new (and disgusting)

        4. The season pass tracks were solid and not that hard (save for the extreme tracks)

        5. Brad is bad at Trials.

        6. This is a good deal and I recommend it.

        7. BRAD IS BAD AT TRIALS.

Ah, trotting out the old "all games are broken" (when in reality only one or two have semi significant issues) chestnut. Probably the only thing that slightly irks mw about jeff that he's fallen into that trap.

          Assassin's Creed Unity
          Halo Master Chief Collection
          Mortal Kombat X
          Driveclub
          Little Big Planet 3
          Dragon Age: Inquisition
Elder Scolls Skyrim PS3 (which is still busted)
          GTA Online
Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4
          Wander

I would say almost all of those had (or still have) more than significant issues. And the fact is that ALL games ship unfinished now, which is unacceptable.

Too bad the developers wasted money hiring a homophobic/sexist/transphobic hatebucket to voice a main character.

Hmm I don't think I'd be ready for a new Guitar Hero in the next 5 years. There was just too much Guitar Hero in such a short span of time...

              Maybe even 10 years...

I guess Activision is running out of ideas.

Or... did they ever have any ideas, really? I mean, good ones.

              Pitfall motherfucker

He has unpopular opinions about popular video games.

              He is very outspoken.

              He is a feminist.

              There you go.

                re: Hiring a new person...

Please hire someone that isn't a white dude.

                Please be racist and sexist

                Sigh.

No. That's not racism or sexism. Here's the thing:

Giant Bomb currently employs eight people. All dudes. All white. All presumably straight. That in and of itself is racist. GB's orgins as an offshoot of another site explain most of those hires. Hiring Dan was not racist against minorities either, we know nothing about GB's hiring practices or the other applicants.

That being said, if they're going to hire another person, it would behoove them from an editorial standpoint to seek out someone who was a little different. Dan's wacky tastes aside, GB is pretty much an echo chamber of one viewpoint. I would LOVE to hear other perspectives on the bombcast or in editorial content here. It would make for a more interesting and more entertaining website if more viewpoints were brought to the forefront.

If you are going to hire someone, you should always hire based on qualifications/best person for the job. The social construct of race, gender, and sexual orientation are meaningless, especially when hiring someone for a job. If they are an Indian trans woman who is a great match for the content GB puts out, then great. If they hire a straight white American guy who is a great match for the content GB puts out, then that's great too. Anytime you choose someone over another because of their ancestry, skin color, country of origin, gender, or orientation, you are dehumanizing them into nothing more than checkboxes. No one deserves to not get a job because they are white, black, purple, or orange, and the inverse is just as true. All people are people, but it is their actions and words, they themselves alone, that makes them who they are.

What you said has little to nothing to do with what I said. So I'm bowing out of this conversation as you have apparently made your mind up.

Remember tho: "I think diverse viewpoints is a good thing" is NOT THE SAME AS "qualified people should be passed up for the job" in fact, they're the same thing. If you can't see that then please do both of us a favor and don't reply to this.

                Have a lovely evening.
