Games I Finished in 2009
After taking down nineteen games in 2008, I had my best friend pick my goal for 2009. He came up with 24. It became such a scramble that I'm never going to set a goal like that again. At any rate, here's the list of victims.

Xbox version. Terrible game, but not the worst I played. Continue on for the Turd of the Year.

Very much like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. This made me very happy.

PS2 version. The second I heard that Max Payne 3 was coming out, I decided to tear through these games. Terrible controls, but the story and action more than make up for it.

Xbox 360 version. I love rally racing, and this is a great balance between sim and arcade driving.

I finally figured this game out after years of not knowing how to beat it. "Last" is the key.

Xbox 360 version. For a 30-something wrestling fan like me, this was a great trip down memory lane.

If The Legend of Zelda and ActRaiser had a baby, this is what it would grow up to be. Classic game.

Xbox 360 version. I'm more of an arcade boxing guy, but this wasn't bad.

Another one of my beloved hack n' slashers. Mindless fun.

First time I ever played it start to finish. Still a solid game after all these years.

PS2 version. My warrior is NOW A LEVEL 99 LEGEND!!!

PS2 version. Controls still suck, story still rocks. I'll take it.

I really wish they'd make more of these games. I'd take a current-generation Baldur's Gate or Champions game...how 'bout it?

I love this game. Except for the first five screens...they suck.

This one is absolutely legendary. Great music, unbelievable visuals for the time, and a genuinely funny story.

Another one of the three Kemco point n' click games for the NES. Interesting story in this one.

The third of the three Kemco games (Shadowgate was the other). I think they'd given up by now...

One of my proudest gaming moments was when I finished this one. So hard, but so awesome.

PS version. I was a HUGE WCW nut in the mid-90s. I absolutely loved this game...especially the rants at the character select screen.

Xbox 360 version. Much, MUCH darker than the first one. I'd love to rip through Stilwater one more time.

Xbox 360 version. This one took an already great game and fixed what problems it had. I like where this series is going.
