I received my key from Ubisoft yesterday without even asking for it - or even knowing it would be missing as I didn't receive the game until today.

The included guitar is ok, I guess. I'm no guitarist. It's an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. so it's targeted towards beginners.

The game crashed twice on me though.

According to the bass content FAQ on rocksmith.ubi.com:

I already own Rocksmithâ„¢. How can I get the new bass content?
Bass content will be made available as DLC on September 4, 2012.

I don’t own Rocksmith yet… How do I get the new bass content?
You have options! If you buy a copy of the game now for your favorite console, you will be able to purchase the expansion for bass on September 4. There is also an updated retail version coming October 16 which will feature bass content on the disc, and for the first time ever, on PC!

Which songs will I be able to play using a bass?
You will be able to play bass for the 53 songs on the disc that feature Bass mode. Bass arrangements will also be added for all those supported previously released as DLC.

Will I need to repurchase past DLC to play them with bass?
No! The new bass content will add arrangements for all previously purchased DLC.

Maybe a little late but the European version of Rocksmith is now available for preorder on Ubi's eshop. Release-date set for October 11 for PS3, 360 AND PC-versions.

I'm finally in the game. Took six support-agents and numerous hours in queue to get there...

Did a last ditch efforrt and contacted live chat again. This time the agent fixed that problem quite easily. I can now login to Battlelog.

... but play the game is another matter... Now I get told "Game could not login to EA Online backend." Whee!

This is also a known problem. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654489413846225/ I just hope they fix it.

Tried calling phone support but it sounded like I was patched through an overloaded 386 with an 8 bit soundcard. Then after 15 minutes in queue it disconnected. Continue being awesome EA.

I have the same problem. Awesomenessless. I've been in contact with Origin live chat support twice - no luck. They've escalated the problem, but who knows if that leads anywhere.

I can play the single player campaign if I log out of Origin first though, so I can vent some frustration on some pixels while I wait...

Trying this out on a fake FB-account... Farmville will never touch my real one. I deleted it. Jeez, what a shitty game.

@SSValis @Prodstep:

It's not a loophole as such. The term is forvaring (involuntary confinement) -- A sentence of maximum 21 years which can be extended by 5 years at a time - indefinitely. This results in a proper life sentence.
