Under rated. I enjoyed this game. It was very dark and frustrating even though the time limit never really came close for me. But I loved it, and for a person of my age when I played it, it was BRUTAL! And I loved every minute of it. The ending frustrated me because I wanted more happiness from it.
But before every temple there would be horrible depressing moments (for me at least) and then at the end everything became better! Having the powers of the different races was also amazing!
Easily within my top 5 favorite games ever.
Also... you don't save zelda, you save the world.

This game at its time was amazing. It still is, so much so that it can be re released almost unchanged on a hand held and people are excited.
But it was very straightforward link story. And while I do agree with many that it deserves a place as one of the best games ever, if you really look back and analyze the story and characters it isn't very deep in any way.
Nostalgia gets in the way for sure and I have no problem with it.
This game deserves it.

This game is a little under rated I think. The art style is very good. I liked the gameplay, and I think the game goes on and on. I couldn't wait to play it every day after I got it.
I first started on the gamecube... I don't like it on the wii.
OoT wins out imo because of its significance. I feel like twilight princess should of been released with the gamecube or something, it just came out so late. It's just a really good game, and that is it.

I would give this first, but after I went back and tried to play it parts of the game pissed me off. I don't like that kind of combat anymore. Still amazing.
Great game though, and if I ever get an xperia phone I will play this for a third time.

Fuck cell shading. And sailing. And picking stuff off the floor.
Great new combat system.
But I always felt like the zelda games were really close to being dark and this one destroyed that perception. Too friendly. Too cartoon like.
When people say it is there favorite... I just disagree. I feel like they haven't played the games I've played. If it allowed you to explore Hyrule or something that woulda been cool. I felt like it needed some more fan service since they just destroyed the whole fucking world.
Fine though, like it if you want. I am still a hater.
