Wow... in all my time playing New Vegas, I never realized the Mojave Express boxes were actually used for something.
Hardcore isn't difficult at all though, you just have to pay attention to your stats and keep a decent amount of food supplies on hand. Don't carry anything with weight that you don't actively need, clean out your inventory regularly, stick to one or two preferable weapons. Take it slow and you should be fine.
Whatever they do, I just hope it can be properly played by yourself. I don't want to be tasked with babysitting an incompetent AI partner again. I did enjoy playing RE5 co-op, but the game is a truly frustrating experience in the absence of another human.
