Namco took what was already a great downloadable game in Pac-Man Championship Edition and cranked the retro drenched madness to 11. Scrambling through mutlicolored mazes at barely controllable speeds as a conga line of fifty ghosts trail behind feels like playing hide and seek in a roller disco. The sheer sensory overload as you chow down on your cavalcade of pursuers in mere seconds is one of the most satisfying feelings in any video game.

A throwback to old school beat-em-ups that suffers from the same simplistic, repetitive gameplay of its inspiration, but it's comical art style and humorous play on genre conventions beckons you to look past its flaws. Sprinkle in light RPG elements, and tons of hidden characters each with unique abilities and you have a mechanically simple game with plenty of treasures to explore. And as with most games of this type, adventuring with friends is the preferred option as it turns into a delightful rumpus over loot.
