For me, I’m going to say Binary Domain, Dead Space 3, Fuse, The Order: 1886, and Final Fantasy 15. Binary was an off the wall Japanese attempt at a third person shooter that I was totally into. It wasn’t terrible, just didn’t do anything special. Dead Space 3 could totally work as a co-op survival horror game but I enjoyed it for what it was. Fuse, same thing. Generic in almost all aspects but I also played that game with a friend and enjoyed it. The Order: 1886 is probably my guilty pleasure. I liked the story, and the gameplay wasn’t bad, just didn’t reach its potential. I hope there’s a sequel someday. Final Fantasy 15. It was my first FF game and I loved it.
A lot of what everyone is saying, I agree with. One aspect I hope they improve is the world. It felt so barren and lifeless. Aside from the clumps of wildlife and various enemies trying to shred you, it was boring and gave me no desire to want to explore. So, with games like Breath of the Wild, HZD, Bloodborne, DS3, and various games with inviting worlds, I hope Borderlands creates something unique.
I stopped at the same point and thought the same when I heard about this but I probably won’t go back to it considering how much grinding you could end up doing. It’s the Arkham Knight shit all over again.
I have a pretty good lifetime record against my mom in Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I also used her as a test subject for Halo 3 maps I was making some to screw over my friends. I used my step-dad as a punching bag for Mortal Kombat 2 too. When my biological father and I reconnected after my first year of college, i remember showing him AC: Brotherhood and some other 360 games. He later borrowed my OG Xbox but I don’t think he ever used it.
