@slag: When Dark Arisen was announced I checked the Capcom forums to see if there was a planned PC release and there was conflicting reports. Seems like there is some Capcom folks advocating (link) it but it was up to the game producer to make it happen.

I really hope they do have a PC version and do a better job of porting it than Dark Souls: P2DE. They haven't announced anything but I plan to hold out since I'm not lacking for games to play in my backlog. Besides the better graphics I have to imagine the game will load a lot better when its in the open world.

On the go, I use Shure SE115. The sound is okay. The best part is the buds stay in my ears well when I run although initially it was a pain to get them in.

For home music, I use Grado SR80s. This is my preferred set. High and low sounds are pristinely clear, but the construction of the earphones are open air and they are not very good for public use both because ambient noise interferes with the sound and because everyone can hear what I'm listening to.

For gaming, I use the PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset. The are comfortable for long sessions and wireless with good battery life. They also plug into my PS3 and PC.

What is going on over there? Didn't they just go through a round of layoffs and studio closures? EA lost like what 20% of their staff this year along with the CEO? I hate to be a doomsayer but the brightest thing they have the horizon is BF4 and that looked boring as hell.

I voted no. Although I'm definitely interested in this game. There will be a PC version down the line and I plan to pick it up not the console version.

4 days before the event for leaks makes sense. The 21st is a Tuesday, if they leak info the Thursday before MS can occupy the conversation over the weekend. However, the release schedule is barren, if they are smart they start leaking prototype bogus, concept stuff to drum up interest. It worked well with the PS4 controller. I would normally say the GAF would be the source for these leaks but Reddit might make more sense if MS is going for a wider (read: less game oriented) audience.

@bio2hazard: Cool website. How do you intend the "blacklist" option to be used? For instance I have Team Fortress 2 Beta on my Steam list, is this something to Blacklist? How does that impact the stats? I obviously never intend to play it over TF2 and wish Steam would let me remove it from my list altogether.

@milkman: Totally agree. I was going to buy this game but I plan to skip it now. Just because Jason Schreier doesn't want to see the tits of some grotesquely proportioned sprite bounce around he wants to see a bunch of oiled dudes dog piled? Vanillaware's art design has always bordered on tasteless and this has completely soured me. There are plenty of game bros spouting that type of homophonia in America, I guess I should expect the same in Japan.

I wouldn't, its an inferior experience to the PS3 trilogy. Its like watching like watching Indiana Jones and the Crystal Craphead before seeing the originals. The game is a water downed retread of game mechanics done better in any of the console games. The best part of the Uncharted series is the wow-factor of being on an awesome interactive roller coaster. Golden Abyss just doesn't have that quality.

Jools Watsham makes valid points but I didn't know this game was on PC and I vote for Greenlight games on a regular basis. I don't own the iOS or DS version, but I know it exists and its popular. To me, its not a problem with the service because in theory its a good idea, but there's a big flaw in discoverability.

I don't remember this game ever appearing on my queue and I up voted many similar games. The games that do appear on the queue are jokes most of the time. Whenever Patrick links to a Greenlight game on Worth Reading I check it out and vote, but that's one person's word of mouth. If a developer is waiting for Valve to promote their game on Greenlight they will be waiting a long time. Unless you have an established name like Dragon's Lair or Leisure Suit Larry developers seem to solely rely of word of mouth. And if they aren't getting out there and shilling it, people won't know.

His attitude actually puts me off of this game, instead of actually showing why his game is good and deserves nomination his argument is: this game is critically acclaimed, I'm an established developer, my game should be on Steam, Greenlight is broken. Personally I don't need to play another "critically acclaimed" 8 bit indie platformer with a chip tune soundtrack. Its the reason I up vote only the things that I think are worth while like La Mulana or Papers Please.
