Did a ton of work after falling down the Project Moon hole with Limbus Company, only to find that Ruina was clunky (still good) and Lobotomy Corporation (game) is not my thing (also pretty fuckin hard). Maybe this should be named "Project Moon" instead? But then PMoon hasn't really said what the name of their shared universe is. The Mooniverse? The L Train? Loonatics Unleashed? Anyway, if you wanted a cheatsheet on the universe, this wiki page is a good place to start before you go digging into the official/unofficial fan wiki on Cogitopedia. This one could probably use some more images though.
Yet another Yakuza game where they just can't let go of Kiryu even after they swore yet again that they'd move on from him. Yet I still enjoyed this thing even though the grind of difficulty went down instead of up compared to the previous game. I even finished a pair of optional dungeons, but fuck you I'm not paying the DLC just for the "Big Swell" joke. Anyway the page has a lot of fuckin text, for those who want the story. Maybe there should be some images embedded, but I think this was a good page.
A gacha game that actually kept me interested with character designs that are actually cool and diverse instead of trying to be racy right off the bat, a story that runs through various 20th century arcana, and a small fun card battle system. ...but it is still a gacha game, and grinding even one 6* to the top let alone multiple of them will take more time than I'd like.
This blonde Gremlin in Limbus Company both is and isn't the Man of La Mancha, and Canto VII shows exactly why that statement is true. Love her or hate her, as you play through the story you just can't help but want her to be happy. Probably still need to top up her EGO list but I got tired.
This butch icon who has yet to appear in any main or side stories yet has captivated a small but fervent fanbase among the Reverse: 1999 crowd. It's also thanks to her that I learned a little bit about Smithson Tennant and Tennantite while writing up the page.
Oh hey this game came out, and I became weirdly invested in it a bit despite only playing some bits of the first one before the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. Could probably use some more/better pictures, but at least there's a good deal of information on that page.
Yes I've been off this game for a while but someone had to make placeholders for the over 100 Operators that I remembered here (including the ones I had the energy to create some years ago) and there's probably a ton of other Operators that I haven't gotten around to. Also at some point I realized it was a lot harder to list each individual Operator in the game and instead list their archetypes, which is still freaking huge considering the game has been out for 5-6 years now and shows no signs of stopping soon, even with the sequel/spinoff Endfield getting closer to launch date. The main story has gone in some wild directions, and sadly I can't really summarize them as I'm still stuck on fighting this one boss during the Arknights-verse version of The Troubles.
Oh thank fuck I didn't *just* waste my entire fucking year on gacha slop (some not-slop too I guess) that has conquered the market and squeezed it by the balls until it begged for mercy. As for Tenjutsu, there wasn't much but a trailer in the Devolver Digital showcase to go on but after a light amount of digging I found the original project of Tenjutsu by the same dev on itch.io, Not much info to go on but I was able to print down some stuff with what I could find.
On the other side of the gacha coin/gem/crystal/whatever we have this third-person shooter where at some point the devs gave into the horny incels demands and ran every single playable character's head through a brain-zapping machine until their stories became about how much they love you, the player. The actual game is alright I guess. But there have to be better cover shooters out there, right? The actual page could use some meat on the bones but I've stopped caring.
I got hyped for this game like I do for a lot of recent Hoyoverse stuff, and also like a lot of recent Hoyoverse stuff I just got so tired of keeping up with it, especially since there isn't a real coherent story. A few people I know said the game's world was just an excuse to have youtuber VAs make heavy sex noises while the trailers play ("""ironically""") and after playing through the first few chapters of it I can't really dispute that statement. At least the wiki page lays out the basic info I guess?
