from my experience, Initial D and Wangan scenes still kind of exist where there are machines with card readers on them. I keep Initial D version 2, 3, and 4 cards in my wallet, as well as Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 and 3. you know, just in case.
but on console? yeah. i think that ship has sailed.
I'm watching the Colts-Pats game on NBC (go Colts) and I just saw a commercial for the game with the November 10 release date at the end, and Al Michaels mentioned the release date for the game when they came back from commercial. It's definitely coming out.
Yerp was about to post this as well (GO COLTS!)
I too was gonna mention this.
(Also GO PATS!. Andrew Luck more like Andrew UN-Luck am I right?, what the hell went on in that one play?, and finally shoutouts to all the bitter fans who brought deflategate jokes to the game. y'all looked foolish.)
i agree that the oujousama thing is pretty tired, but i think that in that trailer at least, she didnt seem to do too many lame moves, though that could be the art style, which i think makes every hit feel pretty hard. i think her rekka thing has like, Bajiquan influence in it which is pretty cool. i think that since she's likely older in this game, they toned down some of the lame princess-y stuff. the laugh is too crucial to ditch though.
hey man, Abel's Change of Direction had the same sort of inputs. QCF to start and then i think just buttons after that. i dont think that this is indicative of a lack of execution in the game. i bet that this will still have a pretty serious skill barrier like previous games once its out and people are really picking it apart.
i think that politically speaking opinions matter, since you can vote and do other stuff that can effect change in the world.
opinions about videogames only matter insofar as you exercise them with your money. if a ton of people suddenly were of the opinion that Halo 5 (for example) was a trash mountain and refused to buy it, they might make microsoft re-consider Halo 6 or whatever.
Personally, my opinions matter to me, but i have no expectation that it should matter to anyone else and i never really try to inflict it on others if i can help it.
she looks great. i really like her fighting style, too. i dont get why people are saying that she is boring looking. there are plenty of street fighter characters without crazy outfits.
right now for side ops and general Afghan maneuvers its Tranq gun, gold bionic arm (stun arm seems fairly useless, to me so far), stun shotgun, tranq sniper rifle.
ill switch to silenced assault rifle and rocket launcher if i know im gonna have to get wild.
