well here we fucking go. some of these aren't out and some might not make their estimated 2015 release date but i know myself well enough to know they'll be on here if and when they come out. there are also a few that probably will get cut as this transforms into an actual GOTY list, but for now you can stay, Batman: Arkham Knight.
this is so good. i tried for like 30 hours to like the first game, and i didnt have time to get into the second before this came out, but the third one really hit it out of the park. i really dont get what jeff and them were complaining about with the movement. i never thought about it until i heard it get brought up in the podcast all the time.
i really like a lot of what this game is going for. as a Degrassi fan, i dig that this game "goes there" a fair amount. as a fan of Rian Johnson's work i like that it has the same School Detective thing going on as "Brick", as well as playing with time travel like in "Looper". it has a great vibe. its also cool to see a game with a ton of female characters all over the damn place. im only two episodes in as im punching up these preliminary thoughts, but i cant imagine the game souring me with the next three episodes. the characters super-teentastic dialog is kind of fine with me. its a little much at times, but its hardly enough to detract from all the good stuff the game is doing.
im gonna cry playing this. i cant wait.

i dont quite get the backlash on this game. i guess i didnt have the "getting shot from offscreen constantly" problem, and i was sort of into the more gun heavy levels.
i didnt beat this. i got down with this way more than any of the "souls" games, but its still not quite my bag. great game though.
if this game has a story mode that isnt just bot matches on the multiplayer maps like Titanfall i will be pretty stoked. i dont have a ton of patience for multi-player only stuff, especially stuff that requires me to either get a group of friends together or chat with randoms.
im still stunned this is coming to america. i never thought id get a chance to play it. i hope others like me are out there willing to buy this thing. hopefully it sells well enough that we might see one of the PS4 games in english someday too.
