I'm getting a little bored of getting only about 4 games a year, due to my being a teenager that doesn't have a job (though I'm working on it) and isn't the beg-from-mom type. For this reason, I tend to only buy games that are going to last me a long time, like multiplayer shooters, more recently Super Street Fighter 4, or something open world. But that leaves out a lot of awesome single-player experiences.
So, to fill this gap in my gaming, I thought renting games would be a good idea. This gives me a way to play shorter games I wouldn't buy for cheap.
What I want to know is what are some good rentable games? Something with a good single-player experience that isn't amazingly long, but still very enjoyable. I would consider games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, or Alan Wake, as good candidates for this, since yes, there is replayability in these games, but the bulk of the enjoyment can be found in beating the game.
I have some Ideas, but I'd like to get some input on games I could play like this without missing too much. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Also, yes I have a 360, thanks moelarrycurly for reminding me I need to post that.
