Eh, this game didn't really do it for me. I think it has some neat and genuinely creepy moments but it didn't get under my skin the way something like PT did. Either way I love this series and am really looking forward to the next one.
I've played through this multiple times, I know all the scares—jump or otherwise—and watching this still stressed me out so much that I need an aspirin. In a good way. I think. Seriously how is this game that scary? I don't even get it. Maybe I'm just a baby.
And I think that speaks to the quality of it and how I'm still pissed about what became of PT.
I really enjoyed this even as an outsider to Dota and having someone like Ben who knows what he's doing (or at least sounds like he knows what he's doing to me) really helps me understand a lot of what's going on here. I like a lot about Dota aesthetically but this seems too complex and with that dizzying number of heroes and a purchasing system during the match it overwhelms me a bit.
I almost kinda wish there was someone on staff who was into Overwatch this much as that is my particular brand of team-based fun times.
