I dunno this looks...serviceable I guess. I'm with Vinny in that I like the character design and animation, but I probably won't put this at the top of my list.

Maybe when I eventually get a Switch and it's on sale or something.

Well here it is. A lot of fair points. A lot I disagree with. But it is what it is and now we all move on.

@north6: By the point I'm at (about 15 hours or so) I'm used to the jank of the facial animations. I just kinda like wandering around planets and seeing what's out there. That's really the appeal of space opera stuff in general to me.

As a fan of the original Mass Effect trilogy and Andromeda I...well, I hope they forget about this game soon. Like, sure this game has problems and it's very much not like the original trilogy but, man, this is dismaying to hear when I'm having such a blast with it. I can't even properly say why I'm so protective of it, but it's hitting a lot of the right notes with me. They even circled back around on it during emails. I know this game will fade, but yeesh this is hard.

@failureatlife: I had the same dream both of you did. I woke up crying, but everything's okay now.

I'm really glad this turned out the way it did. That last paragraph is a big part of my gaming ethos and I can't wait to try and recapture some magic tomorrow. I'm pretty much at the "so excited I can't sleep" stage.

I think this looks pretty neat and I'm definitely excited to play it, but I think I'll pass on it for now for Zelda(and Mass Effect later). Hopefully I'll catch it on a good sale in a few months.
