I'm sure this is due to him playing a ton more minutes than a normal top 4 defensemen would play. But, I figured Keith would get winded by now, but nope, dude is a machine.
Ducks came out to play tonight. Over 15 minutes in the 1st and the Hawks still have no SOG, and it's 3-0 Ducks. If the Ducks could play like this all the time, I would be so happy.
@gaspower: fair enough. Also, bonus points to you for being able to spell Andersen's name right. I spend a lot of time on reddit talking hockey, and the amount of people still spelling it Anderson is crazy, and slightly annoys me.
True to form, I fell off of Hockey right around Christmas. Unfortunately t's pretty tough to keep up with that sport over here in the UK.
So, how crap were the Devils this season? I recall they started the pre-season remarkably strong and then just crumbled the moment that it mattered. I'm guessing that pretty much just continued, huh?
It's the playoffs, you shouldn't call a weak hold like that, unless it's to make up a call. The Hawks should have been called for penalties, they weren't, but the Ducks are called for weak stuff. I just wish they would be consistent in the same game. Favoring one team for each game is awful. I don't want them to be consistently inconsistent.
Ugh, that game just upsets me so much. That SH goal is dumb cause the ref knocks Beauch done that leads to a breakaway. Then just lucky bounces and good plays for the Hawks leads to them winning. Ugh, we should have had that. Back to Anaheim.
Also, I don't care if it makes me sound like a sore loser, but these refs are awful. Calling a penalty on the Ducks at the end for a weak holding call that leads to the tying goal, and then another PP in OT; yet the Ducks get nothing. I just want consistency, that's all.
Bummer I had to work for most of this game. Could only really watch the last 4 minutes, and seeing the Hawks pull Crawford for those last 2 minutes was butt-clenching. This series is extremely even-matched (unlike the Jets/Flames series, no offense), and it's amazing!
Also, that backhand goal from Kane is just something else. Holy shit.
