I hope nobody finds out how many Quick Looks I've stopped watching halfway because I didn't find them particularly interesting- I hear they send moderators to your billing address to make you finish them at gunpoint.

It actually is though? Like, read your first comment, dude. You literally describe yourself as taunting Austin. The entire pretense of your accusation is disingenuous because you're baiting someone into defending a position they never took (specifically, that this game has no diversity issues, but also through oversimplifying Austin's stance on The Witcher), assuming that the circumstances are equal across the board and framing any perception of difference as prejudice or bias. If you really can't see how this is actually a really bad way to start a conversation, then I legitimately feel sorry for the commenters who plan to continue it with you.
@pillclinton: I don't know if anyone's answered you yet, but I remember Jeff saying somewhere that they prefer yearly subscriptions just so the money's all there up front. Most people who do monthly don't intend to commit for a full year so it comes out to less overall, and even long-term monthly subscribers can drop out at anytime, making it unreliable.
Gotta love Rorie's casual digs towards gender issues. Fortunately he says maybe four sentences in any UPF he's in, but whenever he can, he manages to use a few of them to take the piss out of people dealing with identity issues.
