@jagenheim: Microphone failing, look further down the thread for what he said.
No one seems to know what Drew said.
edit: According to Reddit, which I assume is the "thread" you are referring to, someone claims Drew said "Stop. Defeating." in response to the giant DEFEAT. I assume it's a DOTA 2 joke.
Haha, yes, I said "stop feeding," gently implying in MOBA-speak that Brad's deaths were the cause of his team's loss. Sorry, Brad.
@drewbert You talked about the NBCSN crew actually being in the UK since there's lag when they toss to Will. They actually call the race from NBCSN HQ in Stamford, Connecticut. (Interview here mentions it) The past few years they've been on site for a few races, Monaco, US and Canada I believe.
I miss the old office/set; there, I said it. I looks like they broke into the warehouse of a condom manufacturer*
*Yes, I'm well aware they're still getting settled and nothing is finalized yet.
Agreed, but fingers crossed the crew figure it all out. I kind of (foolishly) assumed that GB was financially going well
Why is that a "foolish" assumption? There's no indication (neither before the move, nor currently) that GB is in any kind of financial uncertainty. Like Amyggen said, before hand, they were basically set up in the middle of a hallway, and now they have an actual room. ;)
Sorry, not trying to imply they are in financial stress, just suggesting CBS should've taken better care of them - it's a bloody tiny room and going to be a real challenge for Jason and Drew to make it managable.
The square footage of the new studio is about the same as we had before (the shots show less than half of the room), only this time there are four walls, and no giant concrete pillar in the middle of the room! We literally just plopped down our tables and seats and set up cameras. We are planning on having an actual set (rather than bare walls), but we wanted to get things up and running as soon as possible!
So does anybody know why Kim Milton and Beckham is on the cover??
We talked about red and yellow cards on the podcast, and when looking for an image, I could not get over this guy's face. I don't know who the other soccer people are!
Only just started listenig so I don't know yet if you'll pull this specific quote about Lewis and his Zonda, but:
"It is actually a bit embarrassing that the world's fastest driver has crashed a hypercar between two of the slowest corners in Formula 1 and run into a couple of stationary cars," - Martin Brundle
