As have said in other threads this new stuff is just not for me and it makes me sad. Time to cut the red wire and disarm the bomb. It was fun for so long and I hope that others get 10 years plus out a website but I'm off to pastures new.

I put a comment on here over 2 weeks ago, thought nothing of it other than what I said.

Now over 200 comments later and nearly 30k views there is obviously a lot of feelings and interest in this tread and what is being brought up.

I have been out the loop for a bit, not watched anything, not listened to a podcast for over 2 months now. Has this issue been brought up or torched on by at all by the staff ? Have they even acknowledged there is some concern within the community about the content or perceived lack of it ? This thread seems to be sticking around the top of the forums so someone must have seen it.

As many have said at the end of the day you are paying for a service and If you don't like what you are getting don't pay for it. I will be one of them who is moving on which makes me sad.

I check in every few days and see nothing that is either new or interests me. Its sad but I feel Giant Bomb has not only lost its core but is focus at the moment. I will keep an eye out for something new or even something old that's returning but I don't really hold out much hope. I feel there are better options for me to support out there.

Although it may seem strange but this is not unknown practice in other industries - Not to go to a trade shows.

In my industry (Agriculture) all the big 4 tractor companies did not attend the biggest machinery show in the UK. Why because it costs a lot, in the region of £1,000,000 to attend, set up pay staff etc. Also they have no control of the show, why talk to everyone when you can target specific customers/ groups. Also people are going to buy it anyway so it may seem complacent but in reality its just a waste of time and resources to do it.

People may think that E3 is a big thing, and for some it is, but it is obviously not as important as it used to be. Ways to sell your product has changed so much since its inception. I can see it just being a second tear show in a few years time as all the main players find better ways of reaching out to their customers. I just think Sony have come to this realisation earlier than others.

I'm from the UK (England), never use my voucher for clothing as i continue to resub just due to the shipping cost. I understand the clothing comes the US therefore has a cost associated but for me I'm so used to free delivery across everything i purchase it just isn't worth it to me to pay the delivery. Maybe GB could look into companies in the Europe who produce and deliver clothing, you could then allow them to take a cut, they can then provide the store items without or a reduced delivery cost. May actually increase revenue as more people in Europe would be willing to purchase?

Same her (Scotland) never buy anything due to shipping and have never used my voucher. I liked it when there was an option to give it to charity. I would do that than let it lie un-used or if shipping was a bit more reasonable.

I was watching some Streamer on Twitch playing it. It looks like all the other Borderland games and from what Jeff said that's about it, it's another one of them, you either like them or don't. I also think the whole shitty situation around Gearbox is putting people off.

I have too may earphones, I can see 7 pairs never mind the ones I can't. I may have an addiction.

I would also put in a word for the Hesh 3, they have a good sound stage, are light, low latency and not too expensive. Also worth having a look at Audio Technica, they have a big range across closed and open back type headphones, wired and bluetooth, gaming and no-gaming. My best ones have come from them, the ATH m50x are my go to at the moment.

If you want something in-ear Shure IEM's are very good if a bit odd to get in your ear to start. I have the SE215's which were wired but purchased a very good bluetooth adapter. I can wear them all day and have even fallen asleep with them in, very comfortable. As they are IEM's background noise is almost non existent and the sound is very focused, sound stage could be better, maybe not so good for multiplayer games of FPS.

I don't do chat in games so I can't say how these perform on that front but for most situations I find these both more than adequate.
