I have been playing console and PC games for over 40 years (yes that long) and I have always played alone or with randoms on the internet. Nothing wrong with that. I have no one on my friends list apart from my 2 kids who I play with on the Playstation (we have 3), so its more a LAN party, we just shout through the house most times. They always seem to gang up on me, strange.

For me it was Resident Evil, the original on Playstation.

1- It felt really bad to play, the tank controls and camera angle were just terrible

3 - The graphics even for then were so clunky

2 - The first jump scare scared the crap out of me.

Put it down, put me off horror games completely and I can't stand to play or watch them. As such I am so fed up with all the RE stuff on the GBE Playdate's at the moment but I wont get into that.

If i recall I was just jumping around the internet looking for a game review and stumbled on something about Geff being fired from Gamespot and setting up a new website called Giant Bomb. I started watching a few videos. I subscribed after watching this video, Quick Look: Train Simulator 2012: Trains vs Zombies DLC, laughing so hard I had to subscribe and have never left, come hear at least once a day.

I had this problem during the TH Skating live stream and now with blue bombing. I'm using Win 10, Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit), addon Adblock Plus 3.3.2. I can run from the main page but not from chat.

Billy Connolly at his best. A King amongst men,
(I may be biased being both Scottish and Glaswegian.)

If you're ever in Ireland the Jameson whisky tour is the best distillery/brewery tour I've ever been on. As a side note, the Guinness tour is a lame waste of time.

I'll definitely do an Ireland/Scotland trip at some point. I have some extended family in Galway. I also need to do the bourbon trail in Kentucky. Those are probably my next two vacations. Maybe I enjoy booze too much...

I have done work in most of the Scottish Distilleries over the years. If you need some advice on the best ones to go to I can point you in the right direction.

@travisrex:

My favorite early game as a child was Manic Miner on the ZX Spectrum. We only had monthly magazines then and the chatter around the school playground was always about the ZX Spectrum games in the early 80's. The tapes were passed around and copies made (they never worked as well) it was my 1st golden game period.

Although i enjoyed the Sega game consoles, Sonic was always a favorite, the best period was PS1, Colin McRae Rally was always be special and Metal Gear Solid just blow my mind at the time.
