The only current gen console I have is the PS3. It's not fanboyism, just a matter of, "Hey, I could convince my wife to get a PS3 because it's BluRay and she likes movies." Recently, I have noticed a ton of games that make me real jealous of 360 owners. Here are some of them.
I like games that are dark and creepy. This seems to have both. The idea of gas mask damage and a bullet-based economy tickles my fancy as well.
Basically, I want to play this because everyone whom I know and trust says it's fantastic. I don't know if I have ever even seen footage of it, but, yo, the veracity and volume of praise it got makes me want to see what all the fuss was about.
The first time I dipped my toe into the RPG pool was (is, seeing as how Im still playing it) Borderlands. Yeah, I'm new to it, and Mass Effect seems like the next logical step. Not to mention the benefit of being able to understand all the ME references in the Bombcast I currently don't understand. Also, I love SPACE.
I want this game because of the title.
The community stuff in this game interests me a ton, and would extend my desire to play farther than the "all-hardcore-driving-sim-all-the-time" sort of feel that led me to eventually trade-in GT5P.
Was never crazy about this game, but, It's what my friends play and I want to be cool like them.
