No. What a weird idea. Show me a website that looks the same as it did five years ago and I’ll almost definitely say it’s a bad website.

This isn’t just a website, it’s a business whose business is being a website. That’s some serious Yogi Berra shit, but genuinely their goal has to be to stay on top of a constantly changing content-consuming landscape. On top of that, i honestly think it’s actually better if you want to take advantage of their main output: videos. The organization changes alone make the whole upgrade worthwhile.

I hope the folks who did all the work on the new site don’t read the forums. People put a lot of time and effort into this and others piss all over it because it’s different.

Seriously. I feel really bad when people ask disingenuous questions like these that reflect on people's work in a very passive-aggressive manner. It's honestly almost cowardly. I'd rather see someone posting a straight up complaint thread hating on the new website than something like this.

Much love to the design team. The redesign has some clear ideas on where it's going, and that's the important part. Iteration will get it polished eventually.

Got a few weird audio glitches in Mumbai. I think the game doesn't handle very well changing audio settings, I went from headphones to speakers mid mission and changed the settings accordingly and I was missing a bunch of audio all of a sudden, even in the main menu. Dialogue lines were not triggering and I wasn't able to trigger the barbershop assassination since 47 would not say his line when welcoming the target into the shop and the game would freeze there. I was able to restart the game entirely and it worked again, but it was very frustrating since loading mid-mission would lead to the same result every time.

Good thing about Hitman is that once you know what you need to do, actually doing it is a looooot faster.

Played through Miami a couple of times, having a blast so far. It really is more Hitman 2016, but that's exactly what I wanted.

I think anything that kicks Valve in the balls and make them improve their service is welcome, so I'm all for a diversification of online storefronts. So many people complain about Steam being a terrible storefront will still complain whenever they can't get their games through Steam, without realizing that that's the only thing that will drive people to make better storefronts in general.

Holy crap, I just saw all the kind comments in my submission. I'd like to have gotten to them sooner had Itch bothered to send me any additional emails but it only did so for the first one. Sorry about that! I made sure to address them just now!

My way of getting over it is realizing that I'm not trying to prove anything, I just want to get better. If I lose, it means there's something to be learned from the loss. Which is why I am able to play dozens of matches in a row against someone better than me and not worry about losing every time. Though I do worry I bore them sometimes lol.

I recently picked up bbtag and I literally spammed matches with the first person I found in a lobby just to get used to the game. I lost almost every time but I got better way faster than if I had been sitting down playing against the AI, afraid to jump into online matches.

Had a ton of fun in my first ever BBTAG tournament with the GB community! Went 2-2 and ended up 4th out of 8.

Here's the final bracket

Thanks to everyone who participated, I really enjoyed it!

I'm terrible at them but I still love them. I've always had to have some form of competitive game going, and fighting games are quick to get going and very rewarding when you realize you've gotten better.

Of course I always end up hitting a wall at some point, but I always find myself getting ever so slightly better. I just hate that I don't have my stick anymore because I had to move countries and arcade sticks are expensive, so I'm currently playing BBTAG which is fairly doable on pad for me.

Just finished watching Jeffs stream as well. I'd like to know how you're supposed to buy a new freighter and transfer your stuff over. If you can't, how would you even have the space to unload the freighter inventory so you could move it manually.. Seems crazy.

I haven't tried pressing the button as I haven't been able to afford any other freighters yet (nor have the ones I've found been better than the first one I got), but there's a button on the "compare my current freighter with the one on offer" screen that certainly looks like it's for transferring the inventory from one ship to the other. It also appears when you offer to buy a regular ship. It could use some kind of tooltip to make it unambiguous, but the button depicts a crate and a cogwheel and an arrow pointing to the new ship.

I guess it's possible that it's only in the PC version so far, since it's easier to push updates to that version.

Also, damn, I still haven't found anybody with S class scanner upgrades. For the first time I saw an A class today at least, so I grabbed that instantly.

I tried it today on my PS4 while checking out a ship to buy, you can transfer the items while comparing the ships.

It's still super awkward since you could potentially cancel the transaction while your stuff is in the other ship and I have no idea how the game handles that. I wasn't willing to try since my gut feeling is that it'd behave the way most of the rest of the game seems to do: screw you over through bad UI design.
