Come on guys? Where's the love!? I have a shiny new bundle for the next person that wants one (PM me, message here, whatever) and it includes Dustforce.
Ah whatever. I'll cave. Question though, I want to buy a few extra copies to gift but I'm not sure to whom. Do I just have them sent to my e-mail and send the person the key?
Aside from the obvious games like Mario and Pong, I think having a video of Tennis For Two could be interesting. You could talk about how it took up something the size of a microwave oven where as now you have something like a console which can pump out comparatively amazing visuals. You could also show off an evolution of the game by having pictures/videos of pong, Tennis (NES), Mario Tennis, Wii Sports and Virtua Tennis. Wolfenstein 3D or Starfox is also another thing that could be interesting, show them primitive 3D then maybe show them something from Playstation and talk about the fall of cartridges and rise of CD's. Lots of really cool things you could show off.
Just thought of another one. Showing off Atari Pac-man and Aracade Pac-man side by side as a lead into the gaming crash is something that might grab peoples interest as well. That could give you an opportunity to talk about home PC's and the introduction of the NES.
My story isn't completely horribly but I just ate two fairly large plates of stew over long grain rice. The shameful part is that I have just reached a point where I have to unbutton my pants to sit down because it feels too tight...I should probably fix my eating habits and start working out soon.
I feel lame for not having any other story so: While I lived near my University I would fairly regularly order a medium pizza and devour it myself and then have something else for dinner that same day.
My PS2 slim seems to have problems turning on. I thought it was a power supply problem so I bought a new one but that didn't solve anything. I stupidly thought I could open it up and try and fix it but as soon as I did I sat there staring at it for a couple minutes and then closed it back up. Now I can't even have it fixed since I broke the seal.
@Chaser324 If you're looking for SNES games with load times, I believe Street Fighter Alpha 2 has them, although they weren't quite as long as the ones in the video you posted.
As for me, I'll be waiting until I see something I consider a must have. A lot of their games are looking good, heck even Nintendoland seemed fun but it's not something that would make me go out and drop over $400.
I was hyped during the conference but now that I've calmed down, I really don't see anything there that will make me put down a pre-order for it. I think I'll wait a bit and see when Nintendo's other IP's are going to be showing up.
