Just got his new album and it is sooo good, if your the kinda person who can actually sit down and just listen to music this is the album for you, its labelled under indie it kinda is but acoustic and a guy with a kinda high voice singing amazing lirics.
it was recorded in a hunting cabin in Northwestern, Wisconsin ,USA. so that gives you an idea of the instrument and tools etc he had at his dispossal to actually record this album.
Its such a good album that really hits you after a listen, YOU MUST BUY THIS ALBUM.
killzone 2 - im really looking forward to this sequel, from stuff that ive seen it looks as if it will meet the expectations that skyrocketed when that first trailer came out. guerrilla pull it off because it could be a fantastic game.
modern warfare 2 - i played the first one non-stop just about all last year and the year before that. i am soooo excited for the suquel, gonna be awesome. 2009 game of the year???
resident evil 5 - you see the pattern hear all shooters, anyways from stuff that ive seen of this game first off all it looks awesome and looks as if it would be a great laugh to play with your mates.
I got the new bloc party and kings of leon album the other day there both really gd, these bands have never let me down wif new material, this is BP's 3rd album and prob there best one go out and buy it ppl. kings album is soo gd aswell both a must buy :) :) ..
So i downloaded the Tom Clancy : Endwar demo last night, its now available for silver aswel as gold members on Xbox live marketspace. The demo is 1.6 GB which is a big one it took me almost 4 hours to download, hopefully nobody else has to wait this long.
Anyway the demo gives you only one level to play, but is probably enough because the maps not what i want to get into , its the Xbox headset you can use to command your army to do everything, this works really well, apart from the odd mis-understanding it is pritty solid, the commands
captionare pritty easy to get the hang of (unit 1 attack hostile 5) ,the troops etc work really well, the only problem is that i found it hard once i had 10 or more units i struggled to keep track of where they are or where i was sending them. Also i just wish the camera would zoom out a bit more to let you see the battle field, which it only does when you are locked onto one of your gunship units.
You have to capture command points to get upgrades for electronic warfare or air strikes and force recon, and if your fighting a losing battle you can get WMD permision, they really to come in handy and can turn the tide of the battle for you. And the explosions are pritty cool to watch a garrisoned building full of enemy riflemen get engulfed in flames in the building leaving a pile of rubble.
captionSo i jus downloaded the demo for Pixeljunk and to be honest i dont really so the point in it or understand it lol.
In the game is your a small bug,guy or thing dunno what it is in a 2D world with flowers or plants which you climb by aiming where you want to jump and launching yourself in that direction. Once in the air you can spin your guy to make sure he lands on his feet so that he sticks to the area of the plant that you want to land on.
Like alot of these games it looks really nice, lots of colours and cool shapes but thats where thats where the good points start and end..
I think the aim is to climb the plants or flowers to get to these shapes like circles or these wierd bugs that you can jump at and i guess pixels or pollin lol burst out and you collect it and ehhh...it does something to you or the plants around you, not too sure which one.
Soo thats kinda my reaction to this game not too sure what its all about and not as fun to play as any of its rival games like Locoroco or Patapon. So your not missing much if you dont get a chance to check this one out if the demo is anything to go by.

Im looking forward to this one its a real-time strategy and a role-playing game in one for PC, which when you think about it you wonder why its hasn't been done before its from the creater of Supreme Commander(RTS) and Dungeon Siege(RPG).
So i assume you choose a god at the start of the game which stays with you throughout gaining more powers and experience of sorts. I dont think theres humans at all in the game so its should be cool to see all the different type of races. The map uses the same system that supreme commander used where you can zoom out huge distances and zoom in with ease and see the action up close.
It will probs have the same problems as SC where you need an very powerfull system to run it at a good rate!! god powers unfortunatly the game got pushed back to 2009 :( but that just means that 09 is gonna be a pritty gd year for releases agen with RES5, MAG etc and this but i dunno if it can top 2008 this year was and still is going to be amazing for games.
Lets hope this game is as good or better than SC ...

logoZipper Interactive'sMAG which amazingly stands for Massive Action Game which has to be the best ever name for a game (loved to have been in the room when they where thinking that over). The game is only coming out for playstation 3.
So from what little we know its a modern first person shooter but with a twist it can have battles with up to 256 people, you would think it would just be chaos with this much people online in one battle but there is some organisation to it, players are split up into to eight person squads with each different squad having different objectives and advanced players can be generals,commanders etc. Players can also customize there character and from what ive heard you can so in some depth.
Sadly we didnt see any gameplay footage throughout E3, but we did get to see a really cool trailer of a battle with a huge team attacking an army base with tanks,armoured vehicles and loads of foot soldiers it showed the attacking team really struggling and the defending team eventually managing to fight off the attack but thats when the attacking team called for reinforcements, planes fly overhead dropping bombs and soldiers parachuting down.
The game's release date is TBA but we can probably expect it to be out in 2009. This game could be very very good or could have alot of problems in it, it could also change MMO gaming forever, i think people will be glad to see finaly someone is pushing the playstation limits.
