Duecenage: Best of 2010

List items

  • When you've put over 40 hours into a 7 hour game, that's saying a lot. Especially since I still want to do another play through and continue to encounter new scenarios with each one.

  • This game felt tailor-made for me. I love to read Stephen King books and this game enthralled me in much the same way. I can't wait to see where the next game goes.

  • I played through this game 2 times in a row. The last few hours of the game was one of the finest gaming experiences I've ever had. Had Heavy Rain and Alan Wake not come out, this would take number one with no effort.

  • I didn't know what to expect from this game. I heard Shane Bettenhausen talk it up, but it company brought it over. I popped it in as was completely enthralled. It definitely showed the passion and the desire of the man who created it and that made this one of my favourite experiences of the year.

  • At first trailer, this looked like a cheap God of War clone. What it turned out to be was so much. The layers of depth in the game continue to grow with each new play through and the fun quirks are really entertaining.

  • Best made game on the PSP. I bought a PSPgo so that I could play this on my TV with a PS3 controller. I friggin love the in between mission stuff, so much to do with base management. I just need to get my ass in gear and finish it up.

  • The keyboard is insane amounts of fun. All the newly added Band cinematics look really neat and everything is streamlined. 4 player band reminds me just how fun this genre is.

  • Epic boss battles, ripping dudes legs off, this was a fitting end to the trilogy!

  • The boss battles were tons of fun, and there were also some kick-ass arcade sequences. It also didn't hurt that Bayonetta has a sweet ass.

  • I played the demo over and over and over until I bought the game. It's gets really frustrating at parts, but the "cool" factor never dies.
