Maybe this is changing the subject, but I just listened to the most recent bombcast, and I thought John Drake was a great counterpoint to Dan. He said the shit to Dan that I've been thinking, but not in any sort of malicious way, it just put into stark contrast how bizarre some of the shit Dan says is. But, I enjoy bizarre shit, so that's great!

I'm enjoying playing through NSMBU with my girlfriend, and MarioKart is awesome. I'm pretty frustrated with having to port over my Wii content to my Wii U manually, instead of all that being saved in the cloud, but other than that, I'm really happy with my purchase. I might grab NSLU, but it depends on how much my GF wants to.

I want to play Destiny and No Man's Sky, but I since I can play Destiny on my PS3 and port my character over, and NMS isn't out until 2015, I'm just waiting. I do have a PC, which sort of helps since most games are coming out on PC these days.

Man, it's not that I'm the biggest Cormier fan, but the dude is legit one of the smartest and articulate fighters in high-level MMA right now. And Jones, well, he is definitely not. The dude's a crazy arrogant, pretentious asshole. He had to get a PR rep last year(?) to coach him because he was incapable of not saying the dumbest shit on camera that made people hate him, and then he got a bit more likeable. As a result, he fired the PR rep and just kept doing these awful interviews. He acts like he's fucking royalty and he doesn't give a shit about his fans or opponents. He's probably one of the least likeable UFC fighters next to Rory McDonald.

I don't know, it doesn't seem staged to me. Yes, they staged some of the Sonnen shit, but Jones is a loose cannon, and I think this is him going off script for sure.

Yeah, the animations were definitely rough at times, though I don't think it looked or played like an early access game. The one animation that I kept going back to was his landing after he jumps. I mean, there isn't even really an animation. I think in one frame he's in his jump animation, and the next he's just walking normally again. It's pretty bizarre. But I thought the twist was pretty good, actually.

I actually tried Risen 2 the other day, and I found it really confusing and clunky. But, I only played about an hour. Am I missing something?
