The news of Jeff's departure was sudden, though maybe not surprising. While it's hard to imagine him gone from Giant Bomb, in many ways his presence hasn't been felt for much of the last year, at least from a viewers perspective. He wasn't a part or didn't seems to have a hand in any of the new content and only appeared on Bombcasts and UPFs. I was happy to see his success at starting his own thing this morning and will continue to follow his work.
As for the new crew and the future of the site, today has been incredibly exciting! I haven't been this positive on the site for at least the last few years. Really looking forward to what comes next.
Very fun. The beat by beat format is the right way to go on this. I'll definitely continue with this series.
I was worried it could have taken a direction like Panning the Stream, which is half nothing to do with the subject matter and then a general discussion of whatever was watched.
