I'm looking forward to Armored Core 5, being a big fan of the series. Hawken also looks great. And whatever happened to that MechWarrior reboot that was supposed to be happening? They released that teaser trailer, and then nothing.

@Mumrik:  Instead of taking it off your list because it's made by Obsidian, maybe you should wait for some reviews and see if it's any good. I'm having doubts about F.E.A.R. 3 being made by Day 1 Studios instead of Monolith, but I'm not gonna write it off until I see a final product. I'd be happy to have my fears proven unwarranted.

@Delta_Ass:  I've yet to play an Obsidian game that I didn't enjoy. Are they buggy as all hell? Yes. But I enjoyed both KotOR 2 and NWN2 more than their BioWare forebears, and while I'm only about halfway through New Vegas, it's so far been on par with Fallout 3 -- better in a lot of little ways, really.

Haven't played Alpha Protocol, but the actual RPG side of it has me really interested, even if the combat is crap. It's likely to be my least favorite Obsidian game just because it clearly strayed way outside their comfort zone, but I won't fault them for wanting to try something different.

The creative side of Obsidian is ace, in my opinion -- they just really need to get a team that can keep up the same level of technical polish that their contemporaries maintain.

As a couple of people have already said, Microsoft owns Killer Instinct -- there's really no other franchise even worth considering next to that. Fulgore, while not one of my go-to KI characters, would fit in perfectly with the MK cast.

I would totally be down for Dawn of War of any variety, even though I suck at DoW2 competitive multiplayer, and I'm super rusty on DoW1. Maybe thrown in some Last Stand stuff in DoW2 to mix it up. By the same token, Company of Heroes would be good fun. I have a messload of older RTS games as well (Rise of Nations, Age of Empires 2, StarCraft 1, etc.)

Some quick games of Sins of a Solar Empire on small maps could be entertaining. Speed up the research, build, and movement speeds to keep the action fast enough, and you could probably fit in a handful of matches.

MechWarrior 4? Maybe! Talk about being rusty, though... And on the subject of mech combat, I'm a big fan of Armored Core 4/For Answer -- but, uh, I'm probably one of the only ones.

I think it could be fun to get together a full party for Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2, though that might be a bit much for a TNT, unless someone knows a custom module that's built for a full party and can be finished within a reasonable amount of time.

If we try to avoid shooters, I only have a small selection of console games to choose from, one of which I already mentioned. But. SoulCalibur IV? And really, Firefight in Halo: Reach or Halo: ODST would at least be a change of pace from the typical competitive FPS throwdowns.

Last and almost certainly least likely -- if anyone(s) at Giant Bomb had EVE Online accounts, getting a fat bubble of newb ships out into low-sec for a massive brawl would be stupid fun. Or hell, fly our fail fleet on a pirating rampage, taking on ships five times our size.

I'm American, and I admit I don't listen to a whole lot of non-English music (I actually pay attention to lyrics in the stuff I listen to) -- but if music is good, it's good. I've been known to listen to some Japanese and Korean stuff, some Norwegian music, etc., etc. Here's a German group I got into about a year ago that I really, really like:

The original was fine for what it was, but if I can't recreate my decks and stress-test them against hundreds of players online, then I'm not sure if I really want to pony up the cash again.

I would say that Age of Empires was more than just "semi-popular"; back in the day, I didn't know a single person who didn't own Age of Empires 2.

Also, I play RTS games of various sorts on a very regular basis, and I haven't even picked up StarCraft 2. Believe it or not, as good a game as it may be, it's not going to be everyone's go-to RTS experience.

Personally, I'd rather see them forget that AoE3 ever existed and just make a newer, improved version of AoE2. I have zero interest in a F2P online AoE with cartoony graphics.

Orcs Must Die! looks fairly entertaining, actually, but if it doesn't have at least two-player co-op, I will be mildly disappoint. Seems like they're trying to make use of the graphics engine they developed for that fail-from-the-start Halo MMO that got canned.

First FEAR was about horror. And it did a good job. Second fear was more about shootin' dudes. "
The horror in FEAR 2 wasn't as effective as in the first, but the atmosphere was still great. I liked both games for what they were; I'm not one of the fans who think FEAR 2 was a travesty. I'm concerned about FEAR 3 mostly because it isn't being developed by Monolith; I'm just not sure Day 1 Studios can nail the atmosphere that makes a FEAR game what it is, be it focused more on horror or shootin' dudes. Also not sure how the story might have been effected by the change of hands between developers. I'm definitely going to take a "wait and see" approach with it.

Beyond Good & Evil, Hard Core, and Torchlight. Even though I already have Torchlight on the PC.
