This is the game I wish I got to make. No other game has combined a bunch of references from Mexican and Video Game culture ever. It's amazing and speaks to me on every single level. The mechanics are the tightest I've played with all year.

Nintendo seems to be making very good Mario games lately. As long as they are not of the "NEW" series. The irony is that this game has a lot more new gameplay and theme elements than the "WAH WAH" saga.

For a while this game was at the #1 spot but it just fell short only because of some minor gameplay elements that seemed to bother me a bit. Like the fact that bosses seem to have a time limit to beat them. Of course those are nitpicks that ultimately don't really drag this game down too much. The art is so good it drove me to beat this game on all the dificulty settings to unlock as much of the art gallery as posible.

You can't go wrong with a game that borrows from great games and implements them in a way that is fun. Exploring is great and fighting enemies is a blast.

Watching the Ken / Ryu special over and over again alone makes this one of the best games of the year.
