There are some games that for some reason made a bad first impression on me or they are just not my thing. But they are considered either good, popular or important. They can be important to a specific genre or theme so I guess I should play them I dont know. Giving them another shot could change my mind about them since they are well regarded by so many.
I've played 1, 2 and 4. The radar from all the other games pretty much spoiled me and I could not get used to this games radar. The story alone should be what makes me finally play this but who knows.
Do I even need to explain this?
I got this on my WiiU for some reason I don't know. JRPGs are not my thing I've only played a few but the story and theme is what sometimes makes me want to try one out. Earthbound has been talked about a lot and I guess I should play it. I really have no idea what this game is about so that also makes me want to figure out what makes this game so special to so many.
I sense a theme going on where it seems people overlook the gameplay aspect of a game because of its story.
I love the art style of this game but again, its an RPG. People swear by this game and the story seems interesting.
Growing up there was a 7 Eleven close to my house that had a Super Street Fighter II arcade machine inside. I played it a lot specially during the weekends. One day the machine is replaced by a Virtua Fighter (2 I think) machine. The characters looked really cool but as I started to play the game of course its a completely different game. Slow and clunky is the only way I can describe these games. Later I found out of course with the internet that its a very deep and complicated fighting game that was very polished but the damage was done.
Great looking game but I am really into heavy action games so RPGs and point and click adventure games are clearly not my thing. This game however seems pretty good. Well I'm sure playing it is not but looking at it will be good.
Very popular franchise that I haven't even touched. It seems boring but some people could spend hours in these games.
This games story makes no sense. I played the GBA game and it was fun. The card based mechanic was engaging and the Disney themed worlds are great. To see and play in Disney themed worlds is the main attraction here not a story that is so far up its own ass, so at least it delivers on the Disney part very well.
Clearly the Giant Bomb effect is in effect here. They talk about a game and we all want to play it. Even if we hate the idea of it.
