Damn, I would have said the exact opposite is true.

"That is another point given by vidiot. The achievement points and trophies would just ruin the experience. Can you imagine an intense dramatic moment, you are currently misty eyed and just before the climatic scene.. "bleep blop" ...

Now imagine Final Fantasy 7, you are at the end of disc 2...BLEEP BLOP "Achievement Unlocked: Yo, that bitch is dead" "
Hi! Have we met? My name is Persona 4 and im out of my damn mind.Seriously, have you watched the Endurance Run? If theres an intense dramatic moment in that game then it would be a piece of shit game since it would totally makes a 360 form BAT SHIT CRAZY to serious... no that wouldnt work in that game. It has more gay/homofobia jokes then any game ever. So going from that to serious would be totalyl insane.I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEM BALLS!!!!!"
Ugh. Playing the game is different from watching Endurance Run. The game really does get pretty intense and dramatic.

The same guy that starred as Dr. Moreau in The Island of Dr. Moreau...

See where I'm going with this?

I'm willing to give the movie a chance if they are willing to try for quality."
Dude. The Legend of Chun-Li. CHUN-LI. Also, producers are a bad example. I need some faith in the writer and director. Producers are usually just in it for the profit. The creative vision, most of the time, is that of the director. "
Producers are never a bad example.  In actuality, the producers are the ones with more of the vision than the director is.  The director's job is to block the scene, rehearse the scenes, and shoot the scenes.  Hell, the DP has more control over the general LOOK of a film than the director does.  Guys like Joel Silver, Arnon Milchan, and Frank Marshall get far more respect from me than most directors...as without them and the level of confidence they have in a piece of work, you wouldn't get most of the amazing movies we've seen.

All I'm trying to say is this:  yes, the past work of these guys may not be stellar, but at the same time, the examples that were given are also projects that the studio would have FAR more control over than the directors and/or writers.

So I try not to discount anyone unless I see some kind of trailer and/or stills that would make me believe otherwise...like Dragonball: Evolution.

Besides, at least it's not Uwe Boll.
"
Point well made. I was being a little short sighted. Although in my defence there are at least some directors who are a major part of the creative force and such.

I have to say the big reason I'm really interested in this is that it's from the guy who made Knytt and Knytt Stories.

I wish we could keep track of how many people bought P4 solely because of GB's Endurance Runs, or stuff on the forums like this. I sure it would be a least slightly significant.

Dude, you're blogs are still totally awesome. I usually have trouble deciding on my favourite video game music because most of it doesn't really stand out to me. But I definitely would list some of the stuff from Shadow of the Colossus, Persona 4, and Okami. Oh, and the title theme from Curse of Monkey Island, yes, I like that one a lot.
