Did it seem kinda weird to anyone else that they had a guy on stage that literally said that his favourite thing are nukes? And that basically right after that they had a japanese developer walk out to present his game? I mean, I realize that he meant that in the context of the game of fallout 76 but that still felt a bit tasteless to me.

I really wish they had done these games in a generic fantasy setting instad of the LotR-universe. This game looks neat but the world they built is too far removed from the tone of the books for my taste. But hey, at least @sloppydetective is getting a kick out of my discomfort concerning this games setting.

I think it's great that Dan is trying to fill the gaps in his education but I sure wish he wouldn't do it in almost every piece of content he's in.

Polish-developed aryan power fantasy or not, you got to hand it to the developers for their impeccable sense of humor. Just look at the names of your enemies: "Wurst Zombies" (sausage zombie), "Hipster Giant" etc.
These are the kinds of clever jokes about Germany I am looking for in a game.

Okay so this is what I could make out regarding the basketball scene, horrible mic quality and all. The german guy who is talking (later appearing as mustache man) has not spawned in yet and is only seeing Jeff and the other female avatar.
(I included some of Jeff's dialogue to give some context to what the german guy is saying.)

(Starting from 27:06)

German Guy: *indiscernible* Hey look women! Hi there women!
Jeff: Oh word?
German Guy: *indiscernible*(To someone else in the room) Do you hear that to? (apparently he means Jeff's voice).
Jeff: I'm inside your head!
German Guy: What the hell? These are just two guys! (referring to Jeff and the other avatar present)
Jeff: I know, right?

(... from 27:55 onward)

German Guy: Where are my legs? Strange, why do I have legs now? (To his partner) Ah now I get it! *laughter* This is rad! (throws smileys) There you are (catches ball thrown by the female avatar) Thanks. (Jeff starts throwing angry smileys). Retards! What do they want?! (To his partner) Oh, really?
Jeff: I Got a basketball over here too, hey, hi.
GermanGuy: ...taking a baseball bat... Hey check this out: ZÄP ZÄP ZÄP (...) dude look at my arm! *indiscernible* ZÄP ZÄP ZÄP In your vagina!
Jeff: Oh... well okay...
GermanGuy: Pew Pew Pew!
Jeff: Is this how people will make love in the future? (...)
GermanGuy: *laughter* Ah dude, In your face bitch!
