Negotiations in IV are seemingly less random or not random. Plus if you mess up you can just talk to the same demon again and not choose that same option. Most of the time they just straight up ask for items instead of asking questions. There are tons of ways you can choose to affect conversation and negotiations, some of which makes it really rewarding. Plus you get insane EXP if you successfully negotiate, too.

So yeah, while negotiation still needs to be a thing, many problems with it have been addressed in IV.

So here's what'll happen. Index and Atlus go under, Kaneko wakes up in a flower field next to Cozy Okada who whispers in his ear "Kaz, it's time" and they both whip out huge stacks of cash and buy the rights to all Megami Tensei related properties and form their own new company. Then they BURN EVERYTHING and are never seen again

And to clarify, the full title is Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (source: official site), which some outlets seem to have glossed over.

On the Shin Megami Tensei IV page, all the character, concept, location, and object associations have disappeared. It doesn't look like vandalism, so I'm wondering if this is just a temporary database quirk or something else altogether. Hopefully it can be reverted, but if it can't it would be a shame as @soren and I have been painstakingly keeping the page updated over a year, especially on the hundreds of characters and concepts within the game.

@metalsnakezero: Whisper Events happen once a demon learns all its skills. So that can take between one or a few level ups to occur.

@misterbuns: Aoki was a baller. I'm glad the Majin Tensei Neo Jakyou theme is in SMT IV, as it's a great one.

@neoepoch: Yeah, it's really something. If nothing else, watch the other video I linked (put it in a different tab and don't watch the video if you're concerned about spoilers) just to hear the full boss music, it's pretty rad.

I also should have clarified that the Cathedral track I linked is a medley of themes from 1, 2, Nocturne, and Majin Tensei. Dunno yet if it's actually in the game, the in-game Cathedral theme is definitely not this live organ version.
