Hey. For some reason the trophies aren't showing up on my site profile. The game is shown as 'last played on...' but none of the trophies/achievements list appears. Just blank...Anyone else have the same issue?

I understand the discontent by long time fans of the series, or the core as some people call it, but anyone this side of Resident Evil 4 will probably enjoy it. I like the scale of the game and how long it is. Survival horror it is not and it will bring new players to the series, the same way it got me to play RE4. Of course, that's a better game than this one, but that's a whole another story...My series is Castlevania and they have made their mistakes too thru the years but the series has survived and so will this one.

Played thru Leon, Chris and Jake 1st campaign. Kind of gives you the feel of what the game is like. Definitely a more action oriented game and less survival horror. Difficulty seems moderate, even while playing on Hard ( Veteran ) your AI partner is actually useful now and won't burn thru your resources this time around. The online co-op for the campaigns is fluid and quite interesting. Whoever joins you has infinite ammo and such. To be fair I read you must finish all campaigns solo tho to unlock Ada Wong's campaign. Plenty of gameplay customization, like activating the laser sight similar to RE4, default shooting hand, camera movement, etc. Cons: There is no real pause in the game, action still goes on while you duck and 'pause' . Formula may be a deterrent to die hard fans of the series, being more Hollywood and action oriented, and somewhat of a mesh of different genres into one game. Pros: Production value very high, sound is excellent, graphics are great ( 2012 ). The game has Quick Time Events incorporated but it is not dependent on it by any means like in Asura's Wrath. The game is engaging, enemies are unique, and has its cool I'd-like-to-do-that-again moments. Plus, the game seems to be LONG. You really feel like you are getting your money's worth in gameplay hours, not just a short 9 hour story mode ( like the entire Uncharted series ). Undecided ( ? ): You upgrade skills instead of weapons, which is more of a shooter characteristic, and you can only carry 3 skills at a time. Note that I am no Resident Evil fan, got into it with Resident Evil 4 ( which is great ), beat the meeker and way too easy RE5 and only watched the 1st movie. The game will appeal to more people and will prob haul in more gamers into the series the way #4 did. Oh yeah, and it will sell millions, which is what CAPCOM expects to do. Full review coming in near future.

The replay value will be infinite...I won't get too carried away and just pick like 3 levels on which to create the contracts on. I've played all Hitman games and my favorite mission remains the same because of the different ways I came up with to finish it. Be pretty cool had I been able to time it, score it and then see if others could beat or better my play. Absolution will finally make it come true.

Played the 1st hour and the game is engaging and cool to see thru until finished. Trial and error seems to be the mainstay mechanic as to passing some areas. First game in a while where running away actually works. Problems might arise when zombies come in from the background and you can't really tell when they are in the 2D plane where you can attack them yet. Some exploration exists, and there are a good number of achievements. Def not an Alan Wake or I Am Alive situation...!!

Is Mark Hamill not voicing the character again or does he not want to work on a videogame again? The voicework in both is excellent for all parties involved.

I'm not sure, it's still a toss up until I play the game and hear him on a regular basis. I didn't like Altair's new voice in AC: Revelations so I might be inclined to settle with being discontent. Yet Tobias Roper barely talks in the game so, we shall see.
