Board games have sadly fallen into a subservient role when compared with video games. There's no doubt there is a very dedicated group of people who still love to play them (myself included), but suggesting Whiskey could create a community dedicated entirely to them is a bit of a stretch.

If anything, board games could be supported the same way most other video game sites do, giving occasional shout outs to new releases and doing whatever they can to support the continuation of these games. With games like Risk and Blood Bowl gaining popularity online, many video games sites are already supporting classic board games, just in a new environment.

How many 3D games have you been playing? You must have a time machine or be a developer because last I checked 3D games still haven't made it to market, so to say it is the absolute worst part of this generation of games is a little presumptive.

Best: The spread of digital distribution and the ability for non-traditional developers to bring their products to market.

Worst: The malaise currently enveloping games journalism as the industry becomes increasingly commercialized. Few gaming publications online or in pint offer anything to differentiate themselves from one another.

I used to back in my high school days, but I grew out of it during college. I acknowledge there will always be someone better at a game than I am, and there's no reason to get worked up about it. Anger usually just makes you play worse anyway.

1988: My parents bought me a NES for my third birthday. I honestly don't know why they thought that was a good idea! :D

I don't understand the cause of the recent surge of nostalgia for the Dreamcast. Anyone who played the system when it came out knew it for what it was: a flop. A handful of great titles, some PS1 ports with better graphics, and online play that came too early and without a killer app. If it wasn't for Soul Calibur my DC would have left my possession long ago.

A 7 hour live show should be appreciated for every minute. "
I find it difficult to reconcile these two statements together...how do I enjoy the whole show if I intentionally ignore part of it?

Nothing included in the paid subscription interests me. Sure, I am disappointed at having to wait a week to listen to the whole Bombcast, but I'm a patient person and can listen to other great free gaming casts like GwJ, Rebel, and Shack while I'm waiting.

@ATrevelan: A lot of people liked Body Harvest's premise, the problem was that it was too ambitious for the times and ended up being completely mediocre in its presentation. Had it been released in the following generation it would have been much better.
