I wouldn't say primarily video game music, since I still listen to a fair bit of metal/electronica, but I have my fair share of video game music. There are some really stellar soundtracks out there, especially from games around the late 90's / early 2000's.

God damn it :/ And here I was almost done waiting for Dragon Age. That game had better be good!

Honestly, while I'm super excited for the game itself, I'd consider getting it just for the music. It's that great. Reminds me of the late 90's/early 00's work from Alexander Brandon.

Judging from their FAQ, it won't have multiplayer, which is fine. They're a small team and I'd honestly rather have a good singleplayer game than a one the does mediocre at both multi- and singleplayer.

Not great either, but like OP I'm kinda intimidated by jumping in the deep end and getting my ass handed to me by people who've been playing for years on end.

Been following this game since back when Giantbomb showed an alpha gameplay trailer of the game.

Gameplay reminds me of XCOM crossed with the artstyle of something like Alien Breed. And the soundtrack, don't get me started! So great.

Any of you duders planning to get this?

I've enjoyed reading these blogs. It's been fun seeing it from a newcomers perspective.

I've played LoL for a few years, but never really got into ranked or anything serious like that, primarily because of teammates being absolutely horrible if you make a mistake. And sadly, not enough friends play for me to make a full team.
