@JoeyIA: No, this is just the Wii version in HD plus extras. @Vegsen: This is not a remake, this is an enhanced port.
I'm glad this is coming for those who refuse to buy a Wii for its great games. I actually just finished the story mode on 007 Classic Mode last night (the regular difficulties have regenerating health, while 007 Classic has the Health and Armor thing going).
For those who are interested, the game is not much like the N64 game except for the guns and characters, and some map similarities here and there. There was also a sweet ass tank level.
The online is pretty good, but it might take a while to level up in order to unlock new things. But at least this reassures you that everyone you play against has around the same equipment as you. This also means that you'll know that a more powerful player is one who is in the 20, 30, 40, or 50 range levels.
The graphics and sound on the Wii are pretty great and the new Goldeneye theme was written by Bono and the Edge from U2.
P.S. Most people like to hate on this game because of the Goldeneye name. They're trying to keep their nostalgia memories or something. I also really like 007 Nightfire.
@Ragdrazi: Haha, I'm just saying it like I see it. The future is going to be motion controls, touch screens, 3D, and social network connectivity. I'm sorry, but that's just the way the industry is going.
