Data and Worf rank pretty high for me because of their own separate journeys in self-discovery. Data was in search of his humanity, while Worf wrestled with his Klingon heritage in a human world. I thought the series did a great job at exploring those sub-plots.
I recently started playing the Elder Scrolls Online. I've never got into MMOs and don't think I'll be engaging in that side of it that much, but as a fan of the TES series it's neat just experiencing the world and lore. Basically I just want to wander around doing quests at this point... nothing that requires too much thought or planning.
I never finished the first one, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I'll probably pick this up at some point. I haven't played a ton of modern rogue-likes/lites so the genre is still pretty fresh for me.
The DCS A-10 Warthog and both the American/Euro Truck Simulator Quick Looks are some of my favorites. The Shenmue Endurance Run is golden, and VinnyVania is a great series that spans a lot of years.
I voted one bite, but then remembered that I'll sometimes twist them apart and eat one half and then the other, without regard to how the filling is distributed. So two bites?
The streams have been great, and I'm appreciative that the crew is finding ways to make things work despite how difficult things are right now. I've really enjoyed the cross-coast podcasts a lot too.
Our A/C stopped working right as the weather started warming up last weekend, so we had about two days that were rather uncomfortable. Thankfully that's resolved now.
I've been using Cubase for years, and it's a solid DAW that's been around for a long time and is used in all kinds of genres. I'm planning on switching to StudioOne by Presonus this year after demoing it, and would honestly recommend that at this point. The workflow is the most intuitive out of any DAW I've tried, it comes loaded with tons of really good sounding effects, as well as some synths, a sampler, and amp modelers. Personally, between StudioOne and the Native Instruments Komplete that others have recommended, I feel like there isn't much else I need to make both the rock and electronic music I'm into.
