If players are being warned before they're banned... Fine. FINE.
It's certainly not the best solution, and Bioware should probably own up to their mistakes and let this shit slide until the inevitable patch is released, but it's better than instant banning without warning. Also, the studio's PR team is dropping the fucking ball. You have one job, PR team, and that job is to anticipate possible public relations disasters and head them off at the pass, or, failing that, mitigate the damage they cause your property. You are doing neither of these things.
This is one of those moments that if our Grandpas could have looked into the future and seen, they would have said fuck it and let the Germans win WWII.
I'm totally for derailing this thread. So I have to disagree with you. My guess is you're American and if you think that WW2 couldn't be won without your involvement even though Russia pushed Germany back to Berlin, you're wrong. It would've probably taken a lil bit longer, but no nukes would have been fired and the entitlement of Americans and the mindset that saved the world would be gone. Which is a plus in my book.
A Patrick-centric Quick Look? I'm not even gonna look at that comment section.
I'm not sure why it would be mostly Klepek, but even if it was, it'd probably be fine. The only time that dude has annoyed me is when Brad was trying to go for his achievement in Geometry Wars, because he was being an antagonistic little shit in the least amusing of ways. It just made the whole thing uncomfortable.
I can't imagine this game will go without a Quick Look, and if it does, that just means it's going to get a video review. The guys would be crazy to not put out any Skyward Sword content.
While I fully support non-premium users getting access to video content above 360p, I think the tech team has a lot of other outstanding issues to resolve first. Highest on my list of those would be videos uploaded in progressive streaming. It's totally ludicrous that every other video uploaded by the guys still has the progressive streaming on it broken. No other site has this kind of problem with this kind of persistence, and I don't pay to use those sites. I do here, so fix the goddamn progressive streaming tech guys, and I don't want to hear any bullshit excuses. Other websites can do it, and so can you.
