Last night's PokeMonday Night Combat is showing up for me under both the Live drop-down menu and on the front page Upcoming shows panel. The time of the show is listed as "TODAY 12:30AM". Note: this is UK time. Right now (in the UK) it is 12:15PM so the show was on nearly 12 hours ago and obviously shouldn't be showing up on the Upcoming lists any more.
Weird Video page bug: the Smashing Through The Snow video doesn't appear on the Videos page. I only found it by chance when skimming the main page (which I rarely use, I mainly just load the Videos page).
@ashton: Since the update I've actually found that function work way, way better than it did on the old site. I've only had issues with podcasts, which I assume is down to them having 4 versions (video/audio, free/premium).
There's a bug with the Upcoming panel on the Live dropdown menu - the shows are listed alphabetically instead of chronologically, e.g. right now it lists
GB Community Co-Op Corner (8 Dec)
Unprofessional Fridays (7 Dec)
The Upcoming panel on the front page does list them in the right order.
A bit of positive feedback: the "watch progress" indicator (little red line under shows showing what you have/haven't watched) is working significantly better for me on the new site compared to the old site.
Small thing I just noticed: you can't tell what video you're watching without pausing it. The title of the video only shows up on the overlay that appears when you mouse-over the paused video. This is a kind of clunky way to present that information.
Lastly, and I've said this before, personally I miss the video "byline" on all the video grid/list views, ie. who posted it. The synopsis is, I suppose, less important though they were sometimes entertaining in themselves, but especially while I'm talking about fitting more on screen, maybe that's the trade-off. But knowing the site's personalities, seeing who posted a video certainly gives me a shorthand sense of who's likely to be in it, the tone, how much I personally am likely to enjoy it... and so was often how I'd prioritize what to watch first.
I actually use the byline to figure out whether GBWest or GBEast posted a video and it's a shame to lose that. Maybe some other method can be used to indicate this?
I don't like the way the video scales with the browser window (instead of the previous static size options). It doesn't fill the full height of the browser (Win 7, Chrome), instead insisting on having the top of the carousel poking out at the bottom. This is not an efficient use of space - if you're going to take away my control of the video size, at least make it sensibly fill the browser window. Examples screenshots attached.
