Then again, after they just announced that you can't dust cards unless you already have one in your collection, I'm pretty much done with the game. Not being able to dust a trash legendary without already having one of them is horseshit.

This isn't the case. From the desk of Ben Brode:

"there is a rare edge case where your collection will show you have an extra copy of a card that you don't actually have. When players tried to disenchant that extra copy, it would dust the copy that they actually wanted to keep. We've added some protection against this. Sorry for the confusing patch note!"

From the comments on the battle.net blog, and also the main update thread on r/hearthstone.

@bisonhero: Yeah I'm from Canada and I tried about a half dozen times to connect my Amazon account to Twitch Prime and it refused to work. Eventually I temporarily changed my credit cards billing location to a US address on Amazon and that worked like a charm.

Brad is, was and will always be the anime editor. A hamburger is without a shade of a doubt a sandwich. How could it not be? It's meat/a substitute + whatever you choose to dress it with literally sandwiched between two pieces of bread. That's an open and shut case. A tuna melt is no less a sandwich because its ingredients are treated specifically and it has its own name. I believe this with my whole heart and it is clearly very important business.

The swearing question was a little weird. Just another goof or a legitimate concern somebody, somewhere has?

Though you said we should only pick one as a kindness for Drew I think it would be pretty interesting to see both LttP and OoT. It would let him see the most iconic versions of the two main types of Zelda game, giving him a little perspective on both the modern identity of Zelda, and the elemental roots of the series that led there. Probably both Jeff and Dan should come along.

If there can truly be only one I guess I'd pick OoT because I personally like it more. But it should definitely be one of those two.

Great news for GBeast, bad news for GBWest. Without a content machine like Dan SF has a very big hole to fill.

While the hope that he goes to Gbeast is a beautiful dream I don't think it makes any sense. Transferring from one section of a company to the other isn't something that should require an announcement structured like this. If that's all that was happening I can't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to share details. But then I don't know how CBSi do their business, maybe a move like that is more complicated than it seems. I dunno, it just doesn't seem all that likely to me.

All the same, best of luck to the dude, wherever he ends up.

Well this will likely be the end of my the time subscribing to PS Plus. Online play isn't super high value for me and in 2016 they haven't offered a single free game I've had any desire to play that I didn't already own. I've been feeling pretty bad about the services value at the current price since my last re-up, and there's no chance it's worth $70 in its current state. I guess this at least makes the decision to resubscribe in a couple months a lot easier.

@quid_pro_bono: That's a really great video and confirms much of what I suspected regarding Purify's design. When he says that they misread the situation I suspect that what he means is that they misread just how emotional the community had gotten about the state of the class. The hearthstone subreddit for example has been absolutely unreadable more or less since the moment Purify was revealed. People got vitriolic and hyperbolic and just overall were filled with anger to an extent I certainly wouldn't have expected. They underestimated the communities emotional investment and that to me is the real mistake, not the card itself.

As far as removing Purify from arena? I think that's an interesting idea. I believe they SHOULD open up the floodgates you're suggesting. As a digital ccg Hearthstone is capable of a fluidity regarding balance that physical card games would kill for, and save for a handful of mass nerfs Blizzard have largely chosen not to take advantage of this. Is removing cards outright the right answer? I don't pretend to know but it's an interesting experiment, and something I'd like to see more of.

Here's an unpopular opinion: I don't think Purify is a big deal. It's a bad card for competitive play and it does nothing to further the power level of priest and that's totally fine. A lot of people getting up in arms about Purify seem to forget that competitive viability is not and should not be the be all and end all for card design. Is it unfortunate for those people who want to play priest competitively that a non competitive card is released in a 3 card set? Sure, but Blizzard have already acknowledged that Priest is the weakest class by power level and they are comfortable with that being the case for the time being. It's totally ok to be upset that that's the case, but it might also be a good idea to set your expectations accordingly.

Purify is a wonky card made for wonky decks and some people are probably going to have fun trying it out. That's great! For the competitive players Priest of the Feast and Onyx Bishop might not move the competitive needle right now, but they both have the potential to do so in the future. Seeding for the future seems like a perfectly reasonable way to use the very limited class card slots in an adventure.
