I grew up playing Choplifter and eventually flight sims, all of which I inverted the joystick. When first person games with mouse-look came around much later, I stayed inverted for many years. When I started playing a lot of console games using various thumbstick-camera, something rewired my brain to play those non-inverted. Going back to mouse based FPSes after that, I stayed non inverted and do to this day.

So I guess I'm saying brains are messy and a kid will just find this out for themselves, whether you've started them out one way or the other.

(Horizontal is not even up for debate though. Not under my roof)

I did the selfish E first and went back to do the right thing but pod 042 didn't ask me the questions that time. Seems like you only get one chance or else it's a bug.

GTAV in under 2 hours, as per Steam limit. Road and city disappeared on first mission no matter what settings.

Technically nope. It was word of mouth from people whose opinions I trust. No buy for me, not worth the time or aggravation to find out.

Sunday and Saturday are like the edges of a tray that keeps the liquid Mon to Fri from spilling out. They are also the walls that keep the middle days from escaping the work-prison and taking over your life.

Practically never, except in Persona 4 where it seemed impossible without.

Most games don't make it worth even thinking about.

Lots of ways to interpret that clip. I see a guy focused on some dogma of how to be in his life (the candle). While it's lit, all of his energy is wasted on keeping the candle safe. When it goes out, his movements become natural and human again with no arbitrary mental burden.

Repeat over and over but he's getting older and sicker each time. By the time he delivers the candle, he dies having accomplished nothing and missing out on real living.

The delivery is a bit forced sometimes but the content is perfect in this context. Any reference to anything Godlike reads more as one's inner consciousness, ie The Witness.
